Raffaello Follieri Blames Anne Hathaway’s Lifestyle
It is understandable for convicted felon Raffaello Follieri, who is looking at spending 4 years in the the pen for embezzling millions, to place the blame on someone other than himself. And who better to blame than ex-girlfriend and actress Anne Hathaway. Follieri claims he was merely attempting to keep up with her glamorous lifestyle.
Raffaello’s attorney was quoted saying the following about his client:
“Surrounded by movie stars and celebrities and this young man, who neither drinks nor smokes, became intoxicated with it all.”
And he added:
“The road to Hell is paved with good intentions.”
Well, we wonder if Follieri is wishing he would have picked a different lawyer. Most of us would love to live a more glamorous lifestyle but common sense keeps us from stealing LARGE sums of money because of that whole prison thing.
The con man will be sentenced on October 23rd. They are trying to get a reduced sentence of three years. Check out the letter that Raffaello’s legal team wrote to the judge on his behalf.

Absolutely extraordinary! He and Mr. Cook, Christie Brinkley’s ex sound like cousins. Look at this sweet boy! This poooooor wittle narcissist….*pinches cheeks*… who never drinks or smokes…. In fact, butter would not melt in his rosebud mouth…. It’s enough to bring tears to your eyes…. not.
He cooked up a financial con scheme and acted a fraudulent role that successfully deceived trusting people, robbing them of millions of dollars of their money for him to indulge in, and he blames his actress girlfriend and her lifestyle based on her work success and earned popularity? Unbelievable.
Just common songs from a narcissistic sociopath when caught with his hand in the cookie jar and held accountable for his actions, and the pain and loss he caused those he injured and betrayed. It gives me the chills to read this. Lock him up, already.
He is so slick and slippery, so ruthless and remorseless. ‘Rafool’ should be grateful for his great good fortune that he is only getting four years for what he did, and take his punishment like a man, not the lying coward and cheat that he is. He could have gotten a whole lot longer, and deserved such.
