What a great sport! All these hipocrites who can’t stand that there are real people like SarahPalin in politics. One bad thing, there are lot of us American who are so jealous that beauty and brain can go together and esp. that she is a real person who lives just as normal Americans.
OBAMA….!!! what did he really do for this country, than making himself popular like celebrities who just go for making money anyway? He can be a good actor for Oscar award but not a good leader…
If anyone can tell me one good thing that Obama did for this country, then maybe I won’t regret that I voted for him to be our Senator. Is he really good or just way too ambitious? Wish he could have waited to be more experienced…he should have given Hillary a chance then I will vote for him someday if he can prove himself to be worthy for my vote. Maybe I would agree to Jessie Jackson for the first time…that Obama is that ambitious someone who uses our color so he earns our vote.
Wow, yeah, I see your point… Palin agreed to be on SNL because she is a good sport, it has nothing to do with her enjoying being popular or seeking out celebrity status herself, no, not at all, really, no… And, right you are again, beauty and brains inspire such jealousy among us dowdy not-so-smart Americans. It was her brilliance that could not think of a single supreme court cast to name other than Roe v Wade. It was her brilliance that responded to Couric’s question re what she reads for news by saying, oh, hey, anything they put in front of me (they being her own discriminating mind?). It was her brilliance that led her to suggest that seeing Russia from Alaska means that she has international experience… And, of course, it was pure brilliance that gave her the maverick inspiration to charge rape victims for their rape kits. They were asking for it, right? So, hey, smart lady governor plays hard ball and makes those bad girls pay! That’s the way to save money for yer state, doggonit, I wish more states would follow her example!
And, well, that Palin is so humble – no ambition or pride there! She wouldn’t sell out family for her own career!!! Oh, wait, sorry, that’s right, she revealed her teenage daughter’s pregnancy to the nation and to the world to protect her own reputation – to prove that her last child is her own. Selfish much?
Oh, and she would not jeopardize her party (that is the Republican party)’s chances at a presidency by saying yes to a nomination when perhaps she might have done something that would – oh – wait – she did – yikes. Well, yeah, being under investigation for misconduct, well, that shouldn’t keep her from the post to which she was appointed by god, doggonit!
And, we know she has good judgment, right? She would not board a plane for a many hour flight to Alaska, while in labor, risking the birth of her last child! Oh, wait, right, she did that too. Her water broke before giving a speech in Texas. She gave the speech – then boarded the plane to Alaska… Ok, aren’t there any people out there that know anything about birthing after multiple other children?! Labor DOES NOT LAST THAT LONG after the first few. Either she lied and that last child was her daughters (as some blogs are claiming), in which case she is lying to the nation (why not tell the truth – should be a reason for pride if she is pro-life, right?). Or, she is telling the truth and she made a colossally poor choice – risking the baby’s life for her own preference to birth near home. Either way – not too good.
Seriously – a brainy normal person who can’t remember what news she reads or watches and who shoots animals from helicoptors (that’s “normal” right?) and who chants drill drill drill with a smile on her face?
Are you kidding?
Doesn’t anyone else think this all feels a lot like a Gabriel García Márquez story….? He always said that truth is stranger than fiction….
D
You are entitled to your own opinion, but at the very least get your facts straight
you perpertrate a lie that makes you a lier and a tool of the Obama Machine, you accuse republicans of hate!!!! every accusation you stated was a Lie lie Lie. Untrue and filled with hate. You have to be this amazingly inept, and stupid individual with extremely low self esteem to not have researched your facts. Get your facts straight you can disagree with her politics but leave the unfounded character asassinations back in grade school where they belong.
It would be like me calling you, well…… Fat AND stupid because I didn’t like your choice for president, besides i’d be only half right.
You have to argue on the facts and merits of your position otherewise you become the Stalinist aperatchik that cannot see the danger of becoming the kind of person you claim to despise.
Touche’ D from Connecticut!! Very, very well said.
Citizen J,
I was detailed and specific. I have actually spent quite a lot of time reading about and researching each and every detail in my email – to satisfy my own curiosity. The truth is, I am deeply saddened that the Republican Party chose such a disappointing woman to propose as the first female VP. Bummer. I am indeed a registered Democrat, but there are many Republican women I admire who could have represented their party and their nation so much better than Palin, alas.
It is easy and, frankly, lazy to write “liar liar”… If I am so wrong, take a few minutes and disprove my claims. Or, might it be that you can’t – you just don’t want to believe… Blind faith can be dangerous, folks.
Julie – thanks! Your comment made my day!
Citizen J,
You are funny. Your whole post asserts that one must provide facts, yet you do not provide one. Saying that D’s facts are lies does not make them so. For instance, women were charged for their rape kits in Wasilla, and Palin would not name a single magazine she read for Couric, despite being asked to do so repeatedly.
