Joaquin Phoenix Selling Hollywood Hills Mansion (Photos)

Last week Joaquin Phoenix announced that he’s quitting acting, and now he is taking his exit from Tinsel Town a step further by putting his Hollywood Hills mansion on the market.

The 3,200 square foot, four bedroom, five bathroom home is up for grabs at an asking price of just under $4 million.

Broker Hilton & Hyland’s description of the home:

“This spectacular home set in its own private knoll has amazing views of the city. Completely redone, this house features a step down living room with fireplace leading to the outside pool and spa area with cascading gardens. Phoenix says he’s going to focus on his music career. Not sure why he feels he can’t do that from his Hollywood home, but the property was listed five months ago – well before Joaquin announced his departure from acting.
