Scott Ruffalo, wife Lulu and brother Mark Ruffalo

Scott Ruffalo, brother of 13 Going on 30 actor Mark Ruffalo, was shot in the head at his Beverly Hills condominium early Monday morning, and is currently in serious condition at a Los Angeles hospital.

The shooting occurred around 1:40 a.m. at the building where Scott Ruffalo lived on North Palm Drive. Police confirmed the shooting, but would not say who was involved, according to People magazine.

An investigation is being conducted into the shooting.

Scott, 39, is a hairdresser who has worked in Santa Monica and Beverly Hills.  He was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin and has held his California cosmetology license since 1991.

He is married to Luzelena Ruffalo (Lulu) and the couple have a stepdaughter, Lucinda.
