Actress Beverly Garland Has Died 1926-2008 (PHOTOS)
Beverly Garland 1926-2008
Beverly Garland, successful actress and businesswoman, died at her Hollywood Hills, California home on December 5, 2008. She was 82.
She was best known for playing suburban moms on several TV series: My Three Sons, Scarecrow and Mrs King and Remington Steele. She also played the mother of Teri Hatcher on Lois and Clark: The Adventures of Superman.
Garland and her late husband Filmore Crank operated a Spanish mission style resort Beverly Garland Holiday Inn and Conference Center located in North Hollywood.
An original player of the California Actor Radio Theatre, C.A.R.T. still records many of their programs on the grounds of Garland’s hotel.
