Raquel-Ann ‘Roxie’ McNabb, wife of Philadelphia Eagles QB Donovan McNabb, gave birth to twins on Tuesday, December 2.  The boy and girl join big sister Alexis, who is four years old.

The newborns arrived three weeks before their due date but are reportedly doing very well.  The couple have not yet released the names of their new children.

McNabb rejoined his team on Wednesday and gave the following comment about his frame of mind after a few bad weeks of game play: “I tried to not let it affect my play knowing that I didn’t play as well as I wanted to in the previous weeks.  But it’s sort of a little weight off my shoulders knowing that everyone is healthy.”

The Eagles won their game today against the New York Giants 20-14.  They are  7-5-1 for the season, winning their last two after two losses and a tie in the prior weeks.
