Parvathy Omanakuttan, Miss India 2008, is the First Runner Up to Miss World 2008, Kseniya Sukhinova.  She was crowned at the Miss World Grand Finale at Johannesburg, South Africa on December 13, 2008.

Parvathy was also the second runner up of the Miss World Top Model contest held on December 3, 2008.  Check out photos of the winner, Miss World 2008 here.
