Ukrainian beauty Dasha Astafieva was named “Playmate of the Month” for the 55th Anniversary edition of Playboy.  The magazine is available in stores now and is the January 2009 issue.

This was not Dasha’s first time posing for the likes of Playboy, she has graced the pages of the international magazines in the past.  If you watch Girls Next Door, you would know that is why Hugh Hefner’s old love Holly Madison picked her to come and try out for the anniversary edition.  She may be regretting that move, as Dasha is the one being blamed for upsetting the pecking order at the mansion and causing a complete overhaul of the Girls Next Door.

If you have not gone out and picked up the anniversary don’t forget that actress Carmen Electra will be in the issue also.
