Paris Hilton’s Beverly Hills home was robbed this morning after a thief entered through the front door, which was reported to be unlocked.  The Van Nuys division of the Los Angeles Police Department has been conducting interviews.

LAPD police spokesman Richard French said that the man was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and gloves and may have gotten away with over $2 million in jewels and other personal belongings.

TMZ reports that Paris was not home at the time of the break-in.  We will let you know when more info is available.

We smell a rat.   What, no safety deposit box?  Safe?  Security system not on?
