Celebrities wearing neck scarfs is not a new phenomenon nor does it appear to be seasonal.  The Sun recently published a piece describing the various knot techniques and speculating on what each of them offer up about the celebrity who is sporting a particular style.

From their descriptions we have determined that the following celebrities are cool kids: Keanu Reeves, Dennis Rodman, Queen Latifah, Kristen Chenoweth.

These actors are cute but controlling: Chris Rock, John Mayer, Claudia Schiffer.

The loose wrap around shows daring: Steven Tyler, Lauren Conrad, David Archuleta.

These celebs with their cravat style look like geezers: Nick Jonas, Ashton Kutcher.

The ‘lasso’ is comforting: Jim Carrey, Rosie O’Donnell, Gordon Ramsay.

The scarf hanging straight down is the look of a business person who wants to look like a pro: Miley Cyrus, America Ferrara, Ne-Yo, Ethan Hawke.
