Marley & Me Laps Up Long Weekend Box Office, $51.6M
Marley & Me starring Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson was top dog at the box office over the four day holiday weekend with an impressive $51.6 million. The traditional three day weekend total, as ranked by Box Office Mojo, was $37 million. Trailer here.
Bedtime Stories with Adam Sandler took in $38.6 million for four day total, $28.1 million for the three day total.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button with Brad Pitt saw $39 million four day total, squeaking by Bedtime Stories over the long haul but falling behind in the traditional three day weekend total with $27 million.
One Benjamin Button movie-goer took the ‘no talking’ rule a bit far.
Valkyrie with Tom Cruise took in $30 million four day, $21.5 million for three day weekend.

Well the holidays sucked as it was so its only fitting that the hag got a head start… Having seen the trailer for MM & their joint interviews – Their chemistry sucked… So only justice will be for it to wither away from word of mouth.
But its the only way she’ll get on top of Brad again anyway!
