Times Square Ball Drop VIDEO, Happy New Year!

Last glimpse of 2008The amazingly impressive Ball

Despite a frigid temperature that hovered just above zero and a fierce windchill,  a million people gathered in Times Square to ring in the New Year by watching the famous Ball Drop.  An estimated 100 million viewers tuned in to witness it on television.

Former President Bill Clinton and New York Senator Hillary Clinton were on hand, along with New York  Mayor Michael Bloomberg to push the lever that would begin the 60 second countdown on the 11,875 lb. orb made of 2,068 Waterford crystals and 32,256 LEDs.

Then Bill and Hill danced to the stains of New York, New York.  Check out the video below.

  1. What was up with the girth on Fergie? And more puzzling was the one same intro to Solange…. Since when are folks supposed to know who the hell they are referring too!

But how cute were the Clintons dancing to their own beat after the ball dropped! The BESTEST part.
