The New York Post has reported that actress Kate Hudson and  power hitting Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez were seen together at Manhattan seafood restaurant Lure Fishbar, and it looked very much like a date.  After dinner the two joined Hudson’s friend Ron Burkle at the bar for drinks.

We are thinking that this may have been just a friendly date since Kate is a Madonna pal.  Would she really want to steal her man?  We know, we know.  Madge has been linked with hot young model Jesus Luz lately but this could just be a ploy to get the much unwanted attention away from A-Rod.

This isn’t the first time that Alex has been seen with Madonna’s girlfriends.  He has also hung out with Gwyneth Paltrow and Ingrid Casares.

When Hudson’s rep was contacted about their meeting, he said that she was at Lure with ten other friends.
