Deal or No Deal host Howie Mandel was hospitalized yesterday for what doctors are saying is an irregular heartbeat.  Mandel’s rep Lewis Kay made a statement to People magazine.

“Doctors expect him to be released and back to work Tuesday.  He did not have a heart attack.”

Howie is currently in Toronto shooting episodes for his latest project Howie Do It which will air on NBC.

In recognition for his achievements in show business, the actor was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame back in September.

We are wishing Howie good health for the New Year.
