Madonna, as a struggling 20 year old, answered a newspaper ad for a nude model and ended up making a cool $25 for a day’s work back in 1979.

Six photos from that shoot were sold to Playboy by photographer Lee Friedlander and appeared in the men’s publication in 1985, when the Material Girl was starting to hit her stride in the music arena with her album Like A Virgin.

The most explicit of the photos is now up for sale at Christie’s Auction House and is expected to fetch $10,000-$15,000.
