Christian Bale Tirade (AUDIO)
A newly released audio tape of Christian Bale’s tirade against director of photography Shane Hurlbut has many people questioning the actor’s emotional stability.
Hurlbut inadvertently ruined a scene when he walked on the “Terminator Salvation” set during filming, provoking a nearly four minute rant from Bale, in which he threatens to quit if Hurlbut is not fired.
The expletive-laced audio tape was sent by film execs to the film’s insurance company in case Bale quit.
Last summer Bale was arrested for allegedly assaulting his mother and sister before the London premiere of “The Dark Knight.”

christian bale has some serious issues. if you’ve heard the tape you can def tell he’s gone a little crazy. he needs meds.
Christian Bale is such a creep.
christian bale is nothing more than a low-class, spoiled, little ass-wipe who lives in his own bubble. he’s not a great actor,,,,,,he’s just being the idiot that he is.
I believe he was acting! Perhaps this was a very savvy move trying to add some much needed juice to yet another crappy film! For some perspective, the lighting guy might be paid off – he doesn’t have a bazillion dollars at stake. I’m not buying it. Christian is good though! Good job Christian.
i always knew that bale never was and will be a great actor. What a knob head, not only does he assualt women, he has yet another hissy fit. Just dream of being half as good as the great Al Pacino. Grow up u waste of no talent
Not sure how many of you work on set, but I can tell you that all of us crew members know explicitly that we are to remain silent and completely out of the way when the camera is rolling. That includes remaining perfectly still if need be. If there is a problem, shooting stops and the appropriate crew members are called on set to check out or fix any issues. Though I feel bad for the guy who got yelled at (Bale really didn’t have to go on the way he did), he MUST have known better than to just walk on set. He obviously did it a few times according to what Bale yelled during his rant. There is a specific protocol, and we ALL have to follow it – including the actors.

Finally, for once, I can clearly hear what the hell Christian Bale is saying. If only he’d do that in an actual scene my wife and I wouldn’t have to look at each and ask “what the hell did he just say?”. I think I might be a bigger fan now because of this little venture onto the edge of insanity.
I don’t blame Bales reaction. The guy was an idiot for walking around in the scene. Actors are emotional people anyway. I like the fact that Bale told the bloke exactly what he thought of him walking around in a scene.
When you spend that amount of money to shot a scene and have some dumbass not respect the actors or the director of course it should piss people off. I would be the same way. its called professionalism

I know that he walked out of a Broadway theater just because someone sneezed in the audience.
That guy DID ruin Bale’s set and the scene. Bale shouldn’t have yelled and bellowed, but he’s a short tempered one.
What a twat, and since why does Bale have an American accent and say ‘man’ every second word? He’s English…
First, Terminator 3 was a bust, thus walking into a sequel that already has people questioning whether it’ll be another bust is intense pressure.
Second, with The Dark Knight being such a success Christian has to maintain superior acting skills.
You can’t engulf yourself in a scene if someone in the real world constantly walks back and forth throughout the set.
Especially when the DOP keeps adjusting lights.
Exactly how many of us have never lost self-control at one point or another.
Anyone who constantly distracts you from your job is unprofessional especially when it comes to acting.
He’s a great actor, so let’s cut him some slack.
