Nadya Suleman Website Seeks Donations and Gifts
Most of us are already on Nadya Suleman overload but we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to provide a link to the newest wrinkle in the story. It seems that ‘Octo Mom‘, who claims to have no ulterior motives, has established The Nadya Suleman Family Website for the express purpose of soliciting donations.
She has made it very easy for those who are of a benevolent nature. The site invites you to pay by credit card via PayPal. The website also provides an address to facilitate the shipment of gifts to the family that went from six children to fourteen on January 26, 2009.
We have no doubt that there are some kind-hearted souls who will jump on the Suleman family bandwagon. Showing her bravado, Suleman is even soliciting comments. Now that takes courage. Website link here.

First of all, I can’t believe that after paying over $100,000 for fertilizations now you are asking for money.
I don’t understand why you are doing this to mother earth bringing all those babies when there already is a lot of poverty in the world.
Instead of having so many babies you should have open a center for poor kids and disabled little kids that are beging for a piece of bread.
I hope no one helps you on this one, you don’t deserve it.
God help you now.
I can’t believe that first she pays to get fertilized and now she is asking for money.
This goverment should do something about this crazy science going out of hand. How can we have more than 3 up to 14 kids in a single home. We are living different times now and it’s time to stop it.

More taxes spent on children who will never see a two parent family and living on the public dole…
Help the babies by supporting to get them adopted into caring families to people that can give them the love, financial stability, stability in general, and support. If you donate you support her idiocracy. Rally to get the 8 kids taken away from her to set an example to others with this idea and support her kids that way. She is asking for donations to cover her scam. If you donate you are just as stupid as she had planned. She planned people would feel sorry for her and her kids. Now there will be other people trying this if they see her get money, think about it!!! Did you plan on paying child support for her? I sure as heck didn’t!!!!!!!!!!!
This woman is trying to make up for all of you selfish, life fearing people who are willing to donate $750 million to a politician to spend on TV networks but are calling bad names someone who is willing to raise 14 children and by that renew America.
I donated $50.00 to this woman because I want those babies to grow up normal and be productive members of our society. Has anybody asked why this woman does not have a job? I think she would work if offered a job that she can handle.
Today, unless you are superman or super woman you are out of luck.
Jobs that most of us are qulified for have gone somewhere in India, China or who knows where and thanks to our corporations they will stay there.
One way for the poor to screw plans of the rich is increase number of the children in the family and demand their rights.
I am for it. I am sick of the SOB top 1% of Americans sucking everything including clean air from the rest of us.
What this article hasn’t said is that this mother is also living on public aid already (i.e $450 a month for food stamps) and is actually trying to sue for $1 million in retroactive medical costs, or something like that.
It’s quite clear now that the only reason she had all of these children is to take the state for a ride by getting public aid from the state. You see it all the time with these women that have five or six children, each with a different father, and they collect the children’s social security instead of working. The only difference is this woman has gained a media viewership through the news, and now through her website. She claims that she wants a big family because she wants to “love someone”, which I’m guessing is a replacement for her because she wasn’t loved as a child. This woman needs to be in a mental hospital not a fertility clinic. It won’t be long before we hear her begging on the news or Extreme Home Makeover for help again because she can’t support the 14 babies and doesn’t have enough space to be able to give them all a proper home.
Don’t donate to this woman, she’s only looking for free handouts so she can sit home and watch tv while eating candy while some hired nannies deal with all of the children.
Unbelievable! Why on earth would I make a voluntary donation to this leech? I will be making involuntary donations thru taxes for many years. Humans were not made to have “litters”, and MOST animals only produce the offspring that they are able to care for. This is sad, and I hope that children’s services hound her until they can take these poor victims from this ferrel cat and place them in loving homes!
She can only be thankful that she did this in the USA, and not China or India, where she would have been sterilized after the first or second child! She’s disgusting, selfish, and very immature!

While it is very generous of you to donate 50.00 to this woman, you need to understand that no amount of money will help these children live a normal life. In all of the interviews I have seen, Ms. Suleman talks about what she wants, what she has always wanted. It is all about her, not about the children. She definitely has some mental health issues. I have known women with fertility problems and it is a very painful, emotionally trying thing to go through. However, the doctor who implanted her again with all of these embryos should be taken to task for this. I don’t thing that the government should tell anyone how many kids to have, but there should be some sort of evaluation that a woman should go through before a dr. does this. In order to adopt a child, a family has to go through extensive background checks to ensure the safety of the child. The same should hold true for this situation. As for her disability, how disabled was she that she was able to carry and give birth to and properly care for all of these children? Also, it is not all about money. I predict that she will not maintain custody of all of these children. At some point she will realize that children aren’t meant to fill a void in your life. What will she do then?
This female needs severe HELP!!!!!! Her poor parents having to care for the kids that are not ever theirs, and having to have a crowded home. Butm hey I see her nails are all pretty and stuff. Get off your A*S and get a job and stop making others pay for the love you are lacking with yourself. I would love to join in on the one that says let kick some a*s LOL …. Asking for donations, HELL NO, would not give a penny………..
Where is Child Protective Services???? I hope that the care of these children is being closely monitored!!! She’s crazy and apparently doesn’t know the difference between telling the truth or lying! I really wish the plastic surgeon who did her lips would come forward…or perhaps he’s too afraid to take credit for the work he or she did!
This woman needs serious psychiatric treatment. She is playing the media like a harp!! Sadly, she won’t have to pay for her actions but tax payers will. If she had that many cats or dogs in her house they would be taken away from her to protect the animals from poor living conditions. Shouldn’t her children have that same right to grow up in a decent environment?

Is it God’s work to have 14 children out of wedlock and put thier lives at risk by having NO resources to care for them when they enter this world. What about a child’s right to have attention and love and not be a pawn in someone’s fantasy world. I would never support this woman. There are too many childless hardworking couples, who can’t afford to go to fertility clinics and use it like a fast food outlet. They are the one’s we should be supporting.
GOD had nothing to do with this…. these kids will suffer because their mother is sick..She is insane. I would not give her a dime! I think CPS should investigate this matter!
It is not a crime to be poor and children are not removed from parents for that reason. While this mother is clearly with some mental health issues, the course for child welfare should be to provide in home services to the family. I don’t think she will be successful in parenting these children once the attention subsides and she is left with the reality of being mother to 14. The real culprit in this mess is the fertility doctor who implanted the embryos and the other embryos. Nadya is such liar who knows if that is even true.

The idea that “we” have some responsibility in the support of these children is exactly what is wrong with this country.It is seriously wrong to ask the public for help as “we” weren’t consulted about the planting of the eggs so why is it that “we” have all this obligation of financial responsibility.Think how this country would look if we all thought this way.And to those who say its not our business,you need to start paying your income tax.Only then will you have an opinion in my book.I wouldn’t walk across the street to give this woman three cents.The kids will surely go into the system as even the grandma says her daughter is NOT capible of the care of the six that she already had.Good luck but I’ll pass on the donation as well as the reality show.

I think this woman is very selfish and needs help. My heart goes out to her children because, as insane as she seems to be, she can’t possibly that take care of all those children. Her Mom is all ready exhausted from doing her work. Asking people for money is asking to much, SHE made her bed now let her lay in it!
I think CPS should take the babies away and adopt them out. IF not then monitor their welfare to ensure they are getting the best care. I think she should be fixed and not have anymore kids.

I feel so sorry for those poor children, being used by a selfish person with no thought but for herself! I would not donate any money to this person. The money would not go for her kids. It probably would go to more plastic surgery and her french manicures. She is such a selfish witch to what is is putting her parents through and the innocent children. She needs to seek psyco therapy!!!!
I have to agree with most of the people on here. She made these kids let her take care of them or better yet, let the Dr. who did the implants be responsible. I only had 2 children and there were days that I wondered if I was doing enough for them. How can she possibly be physically, emotionally and financially responsible for this brood? I think Toby Keith wrote a song about her: “I Want to Talk About Me.”
I agree with all of you. I think that instead of focusing on this mother (I use the term loosely), everyone should immediately start focusing on the 14 innocent children. I too think that CPS should step in because there is no way this woman is going to be able to raise all these kids and it’s pretty apparent that her folks aren’t happy with the situation because they know what it means – they will be the ones who have to help with feedings, changings, etc when the babies come home. Maybe the fertility doctor who implanted her should be held financially responsible for the care of these babies!
I can’t help myself…I am obsessed with this story. Or maybe I am just in shock!!! I tell myself not to judge this woman, but I do it any way. I do not think she is stable. How can she rashionalize having all these kids, when she doesn’t have any means (other than government aid) to support them? I (BY CHOICE) am a single mom. I have a good job; so I could afford the procedures I had to go through to get pregnant. I currently only have one child, but plan to have another…financed by me! I understand the longing to be a mom…I get that part, but 14?!?!?! Okay, so maybe she didn’t mean to end up with 14, but in all honesty, she already had six…why try for more? She says that she didn’t want her embryos destroyed…why not donate them to people who could not afford to purchase them? I will NEVER donate to that woman. I would, however, give to her kids if I thought they would receive it and not their very (crap, I can’t even think of an adjective to describe her) mom. I believe that she is not trying to fill a void of love that she feels in her life…I believe that she is a spoiled rotten brat and that her parents should have applied “the board of education” to her “seat of understanding” a little more frequently!!! She is asking for money….yet, she can afford to go get a manicure? Not that the price of one manicure will pay her bills, but it certainly could buy a box of diapers! I am torn as to what should happen to these kids….they are siblings….it is not their fault!!! I hope that whatever happens that God will watch over them and bless them. God knows what he is doing so I must leave it up to him to control their future….
Where did she get the money to have 6 IVF treatments in the first place? This issue is beyond disturbing to me. My husband and I went through fertility treatments and I finally had a little boy. He is the light of our life. We both worked hard to pay for the treatments and still do. I have racked my brain to try and see one honest defense to her reasons for doing this and have come up empty. She has love to give. What! How in the h… can you give anything when you are mentally and physically exhausted from just trying to give one child the basics. She has 6 other children, 2 with disabilities. Now eight more. Even if she had a job there is no way she could financially support that many children and pay for childcare. She said in her interview that she used student loans to pay for her basic living to support the children and now its gone. Was she in school at the time because she would have an obligation to pay back that loan money ASAP if she got it, got pregnant and then dropped out. There are just so many levels in which what she did is wrong. Now like so many other children out there they will have to pay the real price and so the cycle continues. Trying to care for one infant is a full time job but 7 more and 6 other young children. That work is harder than anything you’ll encounter in the workforce even with help. But when you bring that on yourself intentionally and a doctor assists in that, that’s unconscionable. I can’t even comment on the plastic surgery issue. The anger, disgust and sadness I have over this issue, I don’t have the vocabulary to express it proportionately.
There are several things wrong with this entire scenario.
1. The doctor that did the in vitro fertilization. Any single, unemployed, disabled woman with six children does not need, and cannot care for additional children. Where were his ethics, and why did he implant her with multiple embryos?
2. As a taxpayer who has never asked for or taken a dime from the public welfare system, but who has worked for the system, I resent someone using the system in such a flagrant manner.
3. I read that Ms. Suleman plans to go back to school to finish her education. Gimme a break! Any parent with multiples needs a lot of help just to stay caught up with feeding, changing diapers, house cleaning and all the care that goes with raising children. When does she think she’s going to have time to go to school with 14 children? That is ludicrous and is “Magical Thinking” at it’s wildest. There is no way in hell she will ever get to go to school until the last of those children is raised.
4. A single parent with 14 children cannot possibly spend enough quality time with each child to nourish that child and give it the love, guidance, and discipline it needs. She is clearly insane in her thinking, and the so-called physician who enabled her needs to have his license REVOKED, or no….he should be the one taking care of these children he helped create.
I would also like to add, that if the children are taken away from her, that I believe that she should be required to get a job and pay child support to the person/people who get the privilege of raising them….and I do mean privilege! Children are a blessing and should be treated as such!!!!
This is absolutely ridiculous.
She has a lot of nerve to ask people for donations. Aren’t our tax dollars going to support her anyway? People like her really make me sick. We’re in an economic recession and she expects people to donate to her? What an irresponsible woman. She seriously needs help if she honestly believes there is nothing wrong with what she has done and currently doing. Furthermore, she is a perfect example of how people milk the system. This entire situation is highly nauseating for me. Honestly, she doesn’t deserve to have those children.
Most likely she did this for this same reason…..to get this attention that she is getting now. She is working nor will she attempt to find work because she is hoping that people will have so much pitty and concern for the babies that they will send all their money to take care of them and she just live life like that. Maybe American will send enough that she will have a fulltime staff and she just watch. Another thing I wanted to know……..if this is because “All I ever wanted was children” does she plan on doing this again with your donations. Children can have the world filled with things but if they don’t have enough time with their parents (in this case parent) life just isn’t complete. This is sad to me….. those older six now have to grow up a little too early to help take care of these younger eight.
I am a single mother working full time and have two children that I support with help from nobody nor do I want help …… I do have a hard time with two kids allthough every moment is worth it for me I can barely handle my two !! This woman has 14 no job WTF????
This lady knows exactly what she was doing. she had all this money to get invitrio so know let her find the father and have him help her with the kids. yes jobs are hard to find but not impossible if she really wanted to work. and if she is unemployeed then she shouldn’t be having all them kids they where well planned they where not an accident. and now after she has been living with her mom and she took care of the 6 kids while she was in the hospital now she has a problem with her mom. i believe she needs to be a residence of the pschyc ward she worked at .

I think its pretty sad that people are threating a mother no matter what has occured thats just not right. Im not saying that i agree with what happened but it has and it cant be changed. Those babies are little angels. The media needs to stop reporting information to the public that upsets everyone.

I have read everybodys comments, what I have to say is priorities for people now days are really messed up. And our country will continue to go bottoms up if we continue to give services for free to people that continue to abuse the system. But our goverment and us (the working tax paying people) keep allowing this to happen. I know young girls take advantage and keep having children on purpose so they can have more money from the goverment, they dont even know what a diaper or a can of formula cost. As much as people with food stamps buying nail polish and soda and expensive items (non nutritonal) is bound for our social security to dissapear. My husband and I are well off and we know the meaning of bringing a child into this world and what comes along with it is hard work. Obviously she has not have to have done that otherwise she would not have a french manicure paid with our tax dollars. People should really be upset, and as long as we don’t say anything about providing our tax money to people that abuse the system we better forget about our social security. And this is nothing new this has been happening with young girls for years.
I’m in confusion. Seriously. The Doctor that did this should have to pay for it. Automatically, where are the sensable rules here? Unethical behavior. Doctor’s license should be pulled. I blame the Doctor. CPS should already be investigateing the kids. Yes, they need to be closely monitered. The only sensable way out here is take the T.V. show or book deal offered. Then added to it, is the gifts from the sponsors. Or give them up voluntarily. May GOD help you.
I am a working mom with a special needs child. My husband work opposite shifts so one of us is always home. We don’t collect food stamps, SSI, disability or receive any source of public assistance and we had one child because that is what we felt we could afford on our modest income of just over $30K a year. I have no problem with anyone or any couple having 14 kids as long as they can pay for them. I don’t mean conceive them but to pay for their housing, medical bills, college and everything else. There is no way she can afford the six she had before and I think she was very irresponsible. Now the people are going to have to provide medical care for these babies and unless she wins the lottery she will never make enough money to support her kids and they will be on welfare their entire life. You would not give money to an alcoholic to buy booze, don’t give her any more support, after all we are all supporting her now anyway. I saw where she was getting a manicure the other day…I know of no responsible person on welfare that does that!
This woman is selfish and irresponsible, how can you go and get pregant again, when you cant even afford to take care of the 6 you already do have. Living at home with her parents, her parents prolly want to relax intheir senior years, not take care of this bitches kids. She did this, cause she thought she would get all this support from the community and companies, like that one couple got. A years supply of diapers and money, all kinds of stuff, thats what she was hoping. But hello, that was a family, that was a couple who were together in their own house and both working taking care of whats theirs, not getting pregnant off of your other kids disability funds, and then asking other people for money to help raise your kids. How is she able to afford plastic surgery and invitro, using her state issued money, thats WRONG!! why is she even trying to look good anyway, no ones going to want a jobless, living at home with parents, with 14 kids anyway. Then shes talking about going back to school with scholarship money thats meant for her kids, its all about what she wants, not the kids needs! And whos going to take care of those kids when she is at school, why should her parents suffer, they should take all her kids away, adopt them out and her parents should disown her selfish a$$. I feel the same way as the majority of you do; although, regardless of what we think, the media will be the ones that will make her rich in the end. If the media would stay out of it and leave her alone, she wouldn’t receive the ridiculous book offers, movie offers and tv deals that she will be receiving. If she wasn’t doing this for those offers, she would stay away from the media and not do interviews. She loves the attention and knows that by getting her face out in front of everyone will eventually land her a deal that will allow her to stay home, have a new house built for her, new family vans offered to her, unlimited baby supplies given to her by manufacturers and the opportunity to have multiple nannies to take care of them for her. If people would just leave her alone, back off and get her face off of every website, tv station and magazine and the attention not all on her, she would have to figure out how to deal with this herself and then maybe child protective services would come in and take control of the situation. Like one person said…this will start an “epidimic” of sorts of people thinking that they can do this just to make money. Do not give in and donate and make her plan work…it will only start a new “trend”.
If you can afford the money to have gotten all of those babies then you should be made to take care of those babies.The world didn’t tell nor did GOD tell you to have that many babies at one time.Now that you have 14 children you and the man that helped you to have all these children need to go to work and raise them yourselves after all they are your children not the children of the world. GO TO WORK AND KEEP UP YOUR OUR CHILDREN
To Everyone out here judging this woman, in her defense she MUST have some kind of money to have paid for these procedures.. State Medicaid is not going to pay for Vitro? Ponder on that for a while.
I’m VERY VERY sad for these children! I don’t know what the answer is but, when I look past my anger at this woman and her Greedy Dr., I only feel deep sadness for every one of the 14 kids! I will pray for them and be glad that I don’t pay taxes in California!
this woman is sick and needs help and the babies need to be adopted by responsible loving “parents” so she will have time to at least try and raise the other six properly. ha ha As if she could even do that.

JW…She got the money while working at a mental health clinic, getting hurt on the job and collecting a big settlement. Too bad she did not get life time insurance as well..It would have saved everyone else money. The reason people are judging her is because we are paying for her choices.
This woman knows exactly what she is doing, so it isn’t that surprising that she’s asking for donations. Some media outlets have glorified large families and families with multiples. I think she saw this as a way to financial help. Remember, her family has had some financial troubles? I heard that at one point she talked about being some kind of child care “expert.” Thus, it all makes sense for her. Sick? Definitely! I do think that she needs a lot of mental help and I am saddened to think of the outcome for the babies and her other children. Support her financially for her decisions? Definitely not!!
I hope that EVERYBODY keeps in mind that her children are 100% innocent in this case. I hate to see any child suffer due a parents poor judgement. As the mom of a 15-month old with disabilities, I know how HARD it is to keep up with the added demands. She didn’t ask to be born delayed, but she was. She is the SWEETEST little angel you could ever hope to meet. Her children are the same, innocent angels who have done no wrong. I just ask that you keep them in mind. All 14 of them are without fault!
I agree with everyone. Those poor children should be taken away and given a better chance at life. And the doctor who did this should be responsible for all support she needs. I pay enough taxes that are not fully set asside for my future, instead, going to a nut like this. I wouldn’t give a cent to her site. And for her parents, if they were so bad why would she want the same bad parents to help do the same damage to her children. If I were her parents I would kick her to the curb, and call CPS for those children. They’d be saving the kids lives along with their own. Its no wonder she has no man. She’s not wrapped too tight. Next we’re going to see her looking all put back together from the donations she asking for from her website. How blind and stupid could people be? Fortunate for her the government is controlling our taxes. They couldn’t even get the budget right. But they’ll hammer the s**t out of the working class on a few dollars back taxes, even put you in jail for nothing compared to what this lazy b***h has gotten the government for. We’ll be paying for these kids for the next 18 years, and then some, if they go to college. I don’t see anyone busting down my door asking me if I need help. My kids haven’t even got health insurance, but you don’t see me trying to beat the system. Fortunately we are able to provide well for them. The system kills the working class who has to provide their own insurance, but trash like her gets cart blanche. Tell me there is nothing wrong with this system. And as for GOD, he had nothing to do with this. They were not concieved the way GOD designed it. But as always everyone wants to blame ALL bad things on him. But I do hope the best for them and GOD BLESS them.
This whole situation makes me sick to my stomach. From someone who was unable to have children and unable to afford the expensive in-vitro fertilizations, you didn’t see me going on TV asking for money. I feel so sorry for those children. They are going to be raised by a completely unstable woman and will probably end up unstable themselves, instead of receiving the love that all children deserve.
Stop giving her anymore media coverage. That’s exactly what she is hoping for- TV show, book deals, publicity to get sponsor for free housing, food, furniture, diapers……… The fertility doctor should be responsible for the upbringing of the children. The children should be taken away from. Can you imaging what kind of messed up adults the children would become if they grow up under her (mental state).
To God’s work: I hope you’re happy that the $50 you donated is probably going to her going back to school or more IVF/plastic surgery.
If anyone wants to donate, send diapers, baby wipes, but not money. She’ll probably use monetary donations for something other than the kids.
Did you even think hard about the whole thing before you did this? You are not even beigh your own self. You are trying to be someone else. You have no MORALS. You seem to be a beggar and all you want is publicity.

My heart goes out to these babies. They are going to be the ones who will go without. I would help every single way I could if I knew it was going to them. However, when she can sit on National television with her pretty finger nails and fat injected lips, THEN start a web site asking for donations…no way. She hired a publicist as soon as she had those babies! You can’t tell me she had these babies for any other reason than notoriety and the all mighty $$$$.

I’m tired of paying for other people out of my paycheck ie: federal, state, city, SS, medicare. With two jobs, I’m just making it. Those poor children need to go to loving famiies who can afford to raise them without public assistance. “Mom” should be ashamed of herself. what I want to know is how the heck did she afford invitro to begin with? My friend had it done with only 2 embryos and it cost nearly $20,000 for just one try! I read Nadya tried with hormone injections for 7 years before trying invitro which worked the first time. Well, do the math… she’s 33 years old, her oldest child is 7, which means she started trying to get prego (without a man) since she was about 18! She only worked for a short period of time and then “got hurt” and went on disability. Well, where did the money come from to pay for invitro and for the 7 years of injections (which my friend also tried for about a year. It was all out of pocket expenses because insurance doesn’t pay for it). I wonder if she and the “Doc” have something going??
if all the babies have the same dad, WHY DOESNT HE PAY CHILD SUPPORT???? Every other man has too and this is no exception. He should have kept his pants zipped up if he didnt want these kids. the dad might want to try collecting aluminum cans on the side of the road to help pay. I don’t think this woman or the doctors acted very responsibly. Howeverk these 8 little babies did not ask to come in this world. I don’t think we should give the mother one thin dime, but I do think a guardian should be appointed for them and if anyone wanted to donate to the babies, not the mother, the babies, then I would be willing togive them money. The court would have to appoint someone reputable to look after their interest.
I’ve read all of the posts here and applaud everyone who have spoken out on the seriousness of this story.
This woman acted out of selfishness on her part and made no effort to see how the impact of her irresponsible decision of having this many kids at one time would have on not only her life but the lives of her kids. In addition to the hard-working families in California who will undoubtedly be responsible in footing the bill.
I personally think that Child Protective Services should remove all children from her care and place them in homes that can care and provide for all their needs. Hopefully, keeping some siblings together if possible.
Secondly, instead of using the money she received from her settlement to get pregnant six times, she should have been using that money responsibly. I understand the want to have children, but snap to reality and do the math. Also, I feel IF this woman was able to carry all eight of these children, then there is clearly nothing wrong with her back and she is obligated to find a job and pay back the state the money she has pretty much “embezzled” from them over the years. Yes, Nadia, the money you receive is called “assistance” as you’re not the one earning it.
Thirdly, I feel that the dr. should have his licensing revoked as he had a moral obligation to say NO I will not implant any additional embryos, regardless if they were hers or not. As there was no way she could afford their care in addition to the care of the six she already has. The taxpayers get to pay over $1.7 million for the babies delivery and hospital stay. Maybe the dr. should foot that bill as he’s just as responsible as she is. If anyone saw the two Dr. Phil shows last week, he posted the costs of what it would take to raise these kids. Mind-numbing and uncomprehensible!!!!
Fourthly (probably not a word), her parents should’ve drawn the line after the first few kids. I feel awful for the grandparents who’ve had to give up their life and happiness and be burdened by all these grandkids they get to take care of. They’ll be going to the grave early if the state doesn’t step in and do something fast. I’m sure the grandparents would like to have their life and possibly their sanity back. Grandkids are great, but you get to return them when visiting time is over.
Overall, this is a very sad time in our really bad economic status. I hope for the sake of those 14 kids, that they get what they deserve — happiness and love. The mother, a nice bed, a gown and some very much needed psychiatric care. We certainly don’t want another Andrea Yates on our hands.
I hope people out there can see past Nadia’s manipulative scheme to try and scam people for money which undoubtedly will be used for her needs and not the needs of the children. I, too, also noticed access to her site has been denied. In addition, if she were to receive any school loans she has stated she’s going to use that money for her kids’ needs and while she attends school she has made the bold assumption that the schools’ daycare center will be watching her kids. Huh!!

I plan to donate to her on a regular basis, I am not a rich person at all, but what she did is a beautiful thing and I admire her for it. From her interview she is not on public aid, she does receive disability from a work related injury that has made it so that she cannot work.
We all need to stop being so judgemental and pointing fingers and take a look at our own lives and things that are not going right with us.

This woman obviously has a couple of screws loose, but to imply that she intended to have eight children is in contradiction to what has been reported – She thought the most she would have would be twins (that was the most she had ever had with any previous invitro). When she elected not to have any of the fetuses aborted, she understood that she had five kids on the way – not eight. When it happened, she was shocked, unprepared, but embraced it. The fact that all of the embryos took AND some split into twins AND they were all born alive is actually sort of a miracle.
The most responsible party here is the doctor, I would think, because Nadya could not have done this without his help. The best thing we could do as a society would be to help prevent this from happening in the future through more stringent IVF regulation. As for Nadya and her fourteen little burdens on society, we’ll just have to deal with it. Taking these children away from their mom is no solution – They would not be “adopted out”, as many have said, because in order for a child to be adopted, its biological parents have to give consent, or have their parental rights terminated (not an easy thing, and certainly not achievable under the law in Nadya’s circumstance). So, they would be shuffled around from foster home to foster home, at taxpayer expense (there’s just no way to avoid it), separated. Statistically, at least one or two of them will be abused, and an even greater number of their caregivers will truly be doing it ONLY for the money.
Getting all hysterical and using judgment to escape dealing with the problem at hand is really useless. Not exactly admirable, either.
Write your reps about IVF regulation. Express your outrage that there are doctors out there implanting 6 embryos into women that already have 6 kids and are subject to less scrutiny than an organ transplant recipient (It’s true, to have an organ transplanted, you have to be psychologically evaluated to determine that you will be able to care for it)!!!

The news articles and websites that I read from talked about where she was able to get the funding for the in vitro procedures. After getting injured at the mental hospital, she received disability costing the tax payers up to $160,000. That and her student loans, even possibly help from her burnt-out parents, she was able to have that many procedures.
On a side note, I agree with the majority of you that the children should be taken and adopted. It’s bad enough that we’re paying for her $1.5-$3 million in hopital services. If she keeps them, we’ll have to fork over unimaginable amount of tax money for them up to age 18. It doesn’t stop there, does it? Being raised in a family of 14 children will mean everything will be lacking. There’s financial aids for college, if they go, and many will need counseling, most likely. If worse comes to worst, these kids will grow up to carry on the tradition that their mom began in 2009. They’ll grow up to be irresponsible, immoral, and self-centered people who’ll produce more just like them.. I may even have to pay for their jail time to keep them off the streets. Am I being over-dramatic and too depressing about these innocent children’s futures? Perhaps, but I’ll be dammed if my husband and I, and even my young children perhaps, will grow old having to pay for more taxes till we are 90 years old. Child Protective Servies, for their sake, take them away. Let them go to loving and responsible parents who’ll guide them to become productive citizens in our future society.

we are in such outrage. We are a MARRIED couple, with jobs who have to undergo invitro. I Believe this is an opportunity for us, but if it gods will not to make it possible then so be it. I will not even think for 1 second of having that many embryos transplanted. My husband and i spoke of this many times, how i would not do that to us or our children. We would finacially be ok with 1 child if god gives me two we prob have to work a lil harder. This woman is disgusting to me. She has not only put all those babies at risk, but has not even have a plan for them. She has made this very hard for people now who really can not have children, who pay alot of theyre hard earned money trying and cant even carry 1 embryo.. Shes a single mom, living with her mom, with six kids, has no job, suing her last employer for who knows how much. With all this time on her hands she decides to have eight more kids. Tell me please whats wrong with this picture? Theres no way in hell she’ll be able to take care of all these kids. So who ends up with the bill ? We do ! Myself I think they need to find her brain dead doctor and let him be the new dad, after all if it wasnt for him she would’nt of had these last eight, he did the first in vitro fertilization.Some one needs to look into this. Very irresponsible of both the doctor and mother! I’ve worked hard for what I have, and hate the idea that my taxes are going for someone’s lack of common sense and poor judgement. I feel the doctor is responsible for this as well, and should be held monetarily responsible. Nadia Sulman should be put to justice!! If you can’t support, or take 100% care of a human being till the age of 18, then you should not make babies. And if you, like Nadia Sulman, lack intelligence, ethics and the minimum amount of common sense required to be called a “normal” person, go ahead and make them anyway… then your babies should be taken away from you at birth and handed over to more capable caretakers/parents.

Most of what is being posted is about how ’sick’ and ‘mentally disturbed’ she is. Don’t the sick and disturbed deserve help and understanding that they do not ask to be that way? There is a reason for all of this. Look beyond yourselves and try to find the good and not dwell on the negative. I love babies and children. If I lived near her, I would love to stop by to help to hold, feed and play with these precious angels. I’m sure there are thousands of women out there like me, that would love to hold a baby close. This makes no sense. With her disability checks she spent it on getting more ivf’s instead of her helping out her parents who has always filed for bankruptcy and filed for a second mortage on their house. Turns out she also had a part time job that she had but that cash went to IVF too.
Their house is no longer theirs but to 6 kids and soon to be 14 babies.
With the disability checks she shouldve helped her parents out so they would not of have had to file for bankruptcy in the first place.

I am appalled at the nasty comments we are all leaving on here. This lady was given as a gift from God, 8 beautiful babies that are healthy. Is it too much to love something? Everyone is always looking for something to complain about. I wish we didn’t even know her, that way she might be able to have a semi-normal life.
I think that as a society we are so screwed up, we’ve missed the whole point. She is a mother, she loves her children. If this was your sister, aunt, cousin or daughter you would hope that people would help out. Send in a donation, what is the big harm. Can’t you spare 5 maybe 10 to help out these babies with clothes, diapers, anything.
People take advantage of the “system” all the time. I personally know people who have told me how they do it. Food stamps are supposed to help people if they are in need. If you saw how many people were on it that didn’t need it you would be ashmed. I think that we need to be more concerned with people like that, not with Nadya and her babies.

Yes, it would take a village to raise a child or more if you look at it that way. But if you look at raising kids that way why the hell are you having them. The context in the Bible in which this is spoken is of a woman who loses her husband, not a nut who isn’t even married, who gets inpregnated by another nut using sperm from a sperm bank. And if you want to be part of that village of your own free will than of course thats fine, but it is clear that most people do not want to be a part of this village. And yes there is something wrong with her for thinking and doing what she did. She did this as a means of an income so she doesn’t have to go out to work like the rest of us tax payers. I am sure most of her fans are non tax payers. And yes $5 or $10 will not break me but it will take from my kids and that is not happening. My kids are my responsibility as her kids should be hers. And all the “I, Me and Mine” being said is coming from her. Every time she speaks its about her and her feeling and her motivations, etc. She never even gave her parents the respect in their own home to have any say in this matter, went ahead and dumped her responsibility on them. And as for all the Bible quoters and Christian claimers, God says “If a man don’t work, a man don’t eat”. So why should we all work and break our ass to support her via her children while she sits on her ass. And I do have the right to say plenty, its my tax dollars flipping her bills. Hats off to all you awesome parents out there taking care of your own. Maybe if these people like Nadya and other alike stopped bleeding and abusing the system our ecomony wouldn’t be as bad. I think Missi is just as board as the rest of us if she is adding her 2 cents. And I have a right just like every other tax payer including Missi, to say something. The taxes she pays, which we know is not income tax, is money being recycled back to her which wasn’t hers in the first place. And the difference between Nadya nutjob and John & Kate plus 8 is they are a married couple together, working class, tax payers who obviously had a fertility problem like many couples, but didn’t get to be plus 8 on the tax payers backs. And I feel their little show gives a good inside look at what its like to have so many children. There is no comparison. Look into the story, it wasn’t for selfish gain. Hey, understand, I am not against any body wanting a big family. I think big families are awesome. But its not right to do it at the expense of society, for ones own selfish purpose and gain. Nadya is a selfish, spoiled brat. I did see how abusive she was towards her mother. Those children should be given a chance at a good life in good homes, unfortunately separated. Not have their lives gambled with by giving Nadya a chance. Hey did anyone see her admitting to being high on pain pills when she did what I believe was her first interview, so she didn’t realize what she was saying. Here we go, the intro to drugs.

Below is the comment that I left on her website, not that she has the mentallity to comprehend it, but at least it felt good getting it off my chest. I just want to say that I pray for your children, but am apalled that due to your irrespondsibility that you are now going to be handed the golden goose. My girlfriend who REALLY needed help for just two kids was told to quit her job before Welfare would help her, you brought this additional hardship on yourself and now as I said it is appaling to see that you will learn no lesson and that Welfare sees fit to reward you for your actions.
Let the bleeding hearts of America deal with this story. I do hope they would use some “cents” before donating. Welfare Reform and Medicade Reform should use her as a poster for changes. There are people out there with real medical problems ig: cancer that have to pay without extra help for the govt so, why is she so different? There is no way on earth she will be able to provide or meet the emotional needs that her children must have to be feel and be loved. Grow up Octo. Take personal responsiblity. Don’t give your money to her, you work too hard to make it. Support your own families. Give to those who really need it for example; food shelves, homeless, sick children like MAKE A WISH…etc.

I am personally sick of listening to nadya disrespect her mother. I think that she has turned this whole thing into a media circus and money making opportunity. I do not think the babies should have to suffer for her immaturity!! I think that she is going down a very risky dangerous path. She most likely has lost the support of Dr. Phil! In the beginning Dr. Phil was out to help her to set her up with care for her children She has totally disrespected everyone that’s reached out to her. I am hoping that those kids are taken from her and put in a home with someone that is normal mentally. Gosh, some of the people leaving comments on here are extremely stupid. Most of you are on track… but really? Some of you saying that this is GOD’s work? That she was STRONG and ETHICAL for not aborting? She should not have had them in the first place!
I understand she wants a big family to fill her love void, or whatever she claims. That’s fine. But what does this say about her first six children? Are they not good enough for her? Doesn’t it strike you odd that she has hit up welfare and disability money at least 5 times already? If she needed to put her kid with ADHD on welfare, she should never have THOUGHT about using that money for something else. Honestly, ADHD is USUALLY just an excuse for parents who don’t want to raise excited children. In most cases, it is not serious. But really, if she already had at least 2 kids on disability because she couldn’t afford them, why would she try to have even one more?

I am sick of octomom and very happy her nadya suleman family website.com had been scrapped. I am a taxpayer and I do not want my money going to support her and those children she chose to have. I could only afford to support three children so that is what my husband and I chose to have. I did not expect the taxpayers to support my family. In order to do that both of us worked. Those children would be better off adopted out to loving families who could afford to care for them and given them the love the deserve.
There is not way one mom can give quality time to 14 children. They ought to arrest the doctor her kept doing this for her. She has no brains, but a doctor should have.
