The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2009 launch party was just part of a whirlwind of activities surrounding the hot models who grace the pages of the new swimsuit issue.  The event was sponsored by Southwest Airlines and was held in New York City.  Bar Rafaeli then headed uptown to chat with David Letterman on his evening show.

Many of the gorgeous supermodels posed while holding open the swimsuit issue to their own page.  Getting most of the attention at the party was celebrated cover girl Bar Refaeli.  Her likeness will be featured on the special SI One 737 Southwest Airlines jetliner for the next month.  See those photos here.

Others in attendance included Ariel Meredith, Daniella Sarahyba, Jessica Hart, Tori Parver, Cintia Dicker, Anna V., Brooklyn Decker, and Jarah Mariano.

Also on hand were Julie Henderson, Jessica White, Esti Ginzberg, Jessica Gomes, Irina Shayk, Damaris Lewis, and Melissa Haro.
