Sarah Blewden: Model With Breast Implants Banned from Boxing
Sarah Blewden, a 25-year-old model-turned-boxer, has been banned from fighting because of her breast implants.
Blewden bagan boxing two years ago as a way to keep fit, and discovered she had a natural talent for it. She applied to the Amateur Boxing Association (ABA) in hopes of eventually competing in the Olympics.
She was told she wasn’t allowed to fight due to her breast implants.
It was ruled that Sarah’s breasts were at risk of ‘capsular contracture’ or distortion if they were repeatedly hit. According to Blewden the ruling is “just ridiculous.”
“My surgeon said they make me no more vulnerable than any other woman. They are not enormous ones – they are in proportion,” said Blewden, who went from a 32B to a 32C to boost her modeling career.

Well, boxing is not modeling so remove them or go back to having your picture taken. When someone flattens her pretty nose, and splits her lips wide open a few times maybe she will think twice. Personally I think it is a stupid sport for men or women.
More importantly, why is something like this news worthy? The only non-celebrity things on here are things that have anything to do with the Hollywood culture. IE anything that has to do with breast implants or anything that’d make a teenage girl text “OMG.”

Methinks she hasn’t considered the consequences of boxing on the body. A healthy case of cauliflower ear ends any modeling potential real quick. Just remove the freakin’ boobie bouys and move on!
