Kelly Killoren Bensimon Joins The Real Housewives of NYC (Photos)
Gilles Bensimon is a top fashion photographer and the International Creative Director of ELLE magazine. He has also been the photographer on the reality television series America’s Next Top Model.
He has photographed the world’s top models, including Christy Turlington, Claudia Schiffer, Lisa Snowdon, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Tyra Banks, Rachel Williams, Honor Fraser and Beverly Peele.
He has one child with his first wife Pascha. His second wife was Australian supermodel Elle Macpherson. They divorced in 1989. He has two daughters, Sea Louise and Tadeus Ann with his third wife Kelly Killoren Bensimon. They announced their separation in 2006. He has since been linked to model Estella Alt.
Kelly Killoren Bensimon graduated from Columbia University and went on to model for Elle, Mademoiselle, Cosmopolitan and Harper’s Bazaar. She was also the face for Clarins.
As a style expert, Kelly regularly appears on television and has been interviewed on The Today Show, Style and Oprah. She launched a vintage jewelry line and a sweater line in 2007. She has her own reality show on Plum TV, Behind the Hedges, and has authored three books: The Bikini Book, American Style and In the Spirit of the Hamptons.
Kelly was added as a new housewife on Bravo channel’s second season of The Real Housewives of New York City. Her first episode aired on Tuesday, February 17.
March 8, 2009 UPDATE: Kelly was arrested on a misdemeanor assault charge after her 30 year old ex-boyfriend Nicholas Stefanov told police that she had punched him in the face with a closed fist, resulting in a laceration below his left eye. Bensimon has a court appearance scheduled for March 31, 2009.

I do not like Kelly she is all about name dropping and I think she is a loose cannon. Who minds her little girls while she is out and about constantly. I saw her on Real Housewives and I hope Bethenny puts her in her place. I love Bethenny she is the only “real” one on the show.

Kelly Bensimon did NOT graduate from Columbia University. She graduated from the Columbia University School of General Studies NOT the regular University. The part of Columbia she graduated from is designed for adults, doesn’t require SAT or ACT scores, you only two recommendations, GPA of 2.5 or better.

I don’t like Kelly. I think she feels more important than she is. She looks about as fake as her toothy grin. I like Bethanny and her honesty and if Kelly would listen she would really how insignificant she really is….WOW maybe that’s why she keeps trying to talk over Bethanny. After you see the show, I see you as everyone else sees…Fake.

I really like Kelly. I think that who ever criticizes her is naturally jealous. I would love to be her, have her genes but i dont hate her.
I like her in RHW she was a really good addition to the show. I think that the fight with B was edited to make her look like a B@#ch. I wish she returns next season.

I feel bad that she gets such negativity from people. Her true colors showed when she helped at the charity without wanting her name all over the place. She seems like a good mother, the daughters are adorable and well behaved.

I agree with Rose. She is a total wack job. And she thinks she’s in love with herself. I don’t mind someone being a little cocky- but she comes off weird, fake as hell, and even at times CREEPY. I think they should not ask her back- unless it’s for Bethanny to put her in her place.
Also- she looks like a horse.
Thank god that Kelly is on the show this season. Bethanny is just so jealous of her its unreal and has been rude to Kellly since the first episode. ITs so apparent. I thikn KElly is a gorgeous woman who says a positive role model for women like myself who are getting older and still able to enjoy life. I am sure she is used to women being jealous of her.
yes, kelly needs to tell the truth. she isn’t an Ivy league grad, she didnt get into columbia as an undergraduate which would have required superior SAT scores to get into. Come on, she never would have mastered the verbal section of the SAT, except if every word on the test is to define awesome. That s all she ever says. Maybe she should tell the truth and say she went to the school of gen. studies, which isnt hard, it’s like adult night school. she’s pathetic
The fact of the matter is, Kelly is a beautiful woman, inside and out.Having lived in NYC myself for a year, (a California native), you realice how catty and pretentious many New Yorkers are. In the grand scheme of things, she is not one of them. She’s fun, intelligent, down to earth, and clearly has a big heart. Anyone who puts her down or bestows negative energy upon her is either jealous or just insecure. Our country is plagued with gossip hungry people, insecure & unhappy women who can’t stand to see a beautiful woman…much less a beautiful woman who is also intelligent, and *gasp* confident! Kelly doesn’t spend her days tearing down other women, or belittling others. She lives her life, and can anyone blame her for being rich and successful? She has earned her way. Of all the Housewives, she is the most easy going, and others call her “fake,” etc..because she indimidates them. I agree w/ the comment about staying positive. This country needs more happy, positive, SECURE women who don’t get pleasure from ripping other people apart. Life is too short: live a little!
Kelly and her assistant must be working hard posting positive things on this blogs. Right now, 84% at the Bravo site want her off the show. 97% felt she was in the wrong. I think she’d be better off spending her extra time watching herself and trying to change. Maybe lay off the coke and get real friends who will be honest with her, NOT like the neighbor who sent her out dressed up like Playboy Bunny on Halloween. What kind of friend is that? Y’know the lady was like, well as a mom and over the age of 25, I wouldn’t do it, but Kelly . . . I suppose it’s the same kind of friends that are telling her that the negative feedback is all worth it to promote her “brand”.

Kelly needs to stay off the horses, she can’t ride and can’t afford a good horse to take care of her. Stop embarrassing the equestrian community with your ugly and embarrassing photo’s of yourself. You don’t know what you are doing on a horse.
Kelly her assisant and her therapist must be very busy trying to find “something good” to say and put out on these blogs about Kelly The Krazy. She must beg people she knows to write positive things, maybe even pays them, because I do not really know anyone who really knows her that has really nice things to say. Her so called friends are ready to tell everyone all about how fake and wonders why she HAS to lie about her live and all that she “supposedly” has done!! Her education for one thing; all her friends from that time knows she went to “Adult Night School Classes” to get her “DEGREE”-really…Her “equestrian” training came from renting her first horse and paying to learn how to ride “Western”, wow 1 whole hour. Then cheap quarter horses that were put out to pasture!! SHE IS JUST SO PHONEY-IT MAKES PEOPLE WANT TO TELL ABOUT HER LIES. Bethanny has nothing to run from her…Bethanny is 10x’s the person Kelly will ever be!! Bethanny will be around a lot longer than “LYING OLD KELLY” Come clean Kelly or get out of Dodge!!
