Meghan McCain Blames Her Dad For Her Dating Woes (Photos)

Meghan McCain wants a relationship

Meghan McCain, daughter of Arizona Senator John McCain, recently mentioned to the internet world that her dating life has suffered greatly since her dad lost the presidential election to Barack Obama.

She shared with the Daily Beast, an online magazine, that politics killed her libido and her love life is “on life support.”  She has voiced similar sentiments on her own blog, McCainblogette.com.  She was a posting warrior during the very long campaign season, sharing details about the family journey, from her perspective.

She is apparently disenchanted by the available suitors who have shown interest in her since election day.  She won’t consider anyone who voted for Barack Obama for obvious reasons and has also turned on those who were die-hard supports of her dear old dad.  That would only leave those who didn’t vote – or we’re missing something.

Meghan said, “When I find my father’s face staring back at me on a potential date’s Facebook page, I am equally put off.  I don’t want to see my father’s picture near any picture of a guy I am attracted to, especially if we haven’t even had dinner yet.”

The 24 year old aspiring fashion designer has Cindy McCain’s blonde good looks, but don’t tell her that because it would undoubtedly make her mad.   In fact, she provided a tale of woe about a guy who showed some interest in her and said he could see her in pearls, and he was sure she’d look just as pretty as her mother did in hers.  It was the death knell for him.

Meghan won’t even consider the possibility that her lack of male companionship might be a self inflicted problem.

  1. And how is the daughter of a failed presidential candidate important at all?

  2. Lol you again Morgan?

You seem to pay a lot of attention to all these articles, taking the time to comment on how unimportant and useless they all are…

stop reading them then! Otherwise admit to your guilty pleasures and stop pretending to be so above all this!

  3. Caroline,

Please don’t accuse me of being braindead.

The reason why I pay attention to this stuff is because I have to deal with it every day. My father watches that hideous network E! Entertainment in the living room, right next to mine, and every time I go to the supermarket I see copies of People Magazine. I post comments on this stuff to give an opposing view, and also, this stuff is posted onto Current.com.
