Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s New Orleans House (PHOTOS)

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt purchased this early-1830s masonry mansion in the French Quarter of New Orleans two years ago, while Pitt was filming “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.”

Real estate records show the house was purchased for $3.5 million in cash on January 2, 2007.  The buyer is listed as Mondo Bongo Trust.

The house has a grand spiral staircase, elevator, gourmet kitchen, a large private courtyad and a separate two-story guest house.  It also has private parking for two cars – a luxury in the French Quarter.

  1. Angeldingylina, should be with Madonna. They seem to have so much in common they both like girls (nothing wrong with that) They also like to shop for children in other countries.. Like we don’t have enough homeless children in the US & they go & Import. Just what America needs? ..Sarcasm 100%

Alert: I just thought does our Gov. give better tax breaks for importing children?.

  2. I saw the house the other day. It looks great! They have a bunch of flags on the balcony and plants set up everywhere. Too bad no one was home!

  3. Ronnie, like we don’t have enough bitter sarcastic miserable assholes in the U.S.
How many homeless children from the U.S. have you adopted?

  4. this is for the person that said that Angelina likes to shop for kids in other countries. Children are children, no matter the country they come from. At list she is doing something to help others with her money. with this actions she is making a difference. she knows the meaning of love; and you?… are you just living under your jealousy? or living your own life?. or better, are you part of the world problem or part of the solution?.

  5. It’s nothing compared to their Chateau Miraval in France.

  6. IF BRAD AND ANGELINA ADOPT CHILDREN FRON OTHER COUNTRIES THATS GREAT AND I BET THAT THEY WOULD HELP CHILDREN NO MATTER WHAT COUNTRY THAT THERE FROM-THERE JUST THAT KIND OF PEOPLE AND IM GLAD THERE STILL TOGETHER AND MAYBE IF PEOPLE WOULD LEAVE THEM ALONG, THEY WOULD DO GREAT!!!!!!!!

  7. hi,
These photos are really amazing! It seems that something more beautiful is going to compete with Angelina Jolie. I loved the idea of an elevator inside home, it is something new to know.

  8. I’m glad that they are using their money for something good and to help underprivileged children, but at the same time there are plenty of children right here in the US that are homeless and need help. No one is worried about the people in our country. Heres an idea instead of helping other countries worry about whats going on in our own country. As bad as the economy is here let worry about our own people. Not only the children but everyone that is having a hard time in what used to be the greatest country in the world. The way I see it is that it is a fad….Monkey see monkey do. Just like Sandra Bullock….don’t get me wrong I love her but the only reason she adopted a black child was to improve her reputation because of what Jesse James did. If the want to adopt children out of their race at least help the underprivileged black, white or Asian Americans.

  9. Well! not as big as their other mansions

  10. I love Brad and Angelina, they are my heroes. I want to meet them so bad but I don’t how. I thank them for the good job they are doing saving children. I have my own orphanage I’m supporting, and it can be stressfull if you don’t have money, but at least I’m doing something for a achild.

  11. @Dorothy – Move to NOLA. You just might bump into them. I live 2 blocks from their place in the quarter and Brad is often seen riding his bike around here. But PLEASE don’t hound them. Ppl in NOLA let them be so they can enjoy the place. And you are amazing for supporting an orphanage! Keep it up!
