Katie Holmes is working on a new movie project in New York City.  The actress is filming The Extra Man with co-star Kevin Kline, and was shooting a scene outside of the Russian Tea Room with actor Alex Burns yesterday.

The project slated for 2010 release, tells the story of a man who escorts wealthy widows in New York’s Upper East Side and takes a young aspiring playwright under his wing.
