Glamour has put together a great photo expose’ of current celebrities channeling some famous American icons in celebration of the magazine’s 70th Anniversary.  The April 2009 cover is graced by gorgeous Katie Holmes, and the interior photos are remarkable as well.

Lindsay Lohan channels Madonna, Alicia Keys portrays Michelle Obama with her young daughters, teen actress Hayden Panettiere is believable as flying ace Amelia Earhart and Emma Roberts is a credible Audrey Hepburn.  The photos were taken by Brigitte Lacombe.
