Don Imus Has Stage II Prostate Cancer
Don Imus told his radio audience this morning that he has stage II prostate cancer. His nationally syndicated ABC network talk show Imus In The Morning airs throughout the U.S.
The 68 year old entertainer returned to radio after being fired by CBS in April 2007 for remarks he made on the air about the Rudgers Women’s Basketball players, calling them “nappy-headed hoes”. The network bowed under intense pressure from Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson and fired their popular radio host.
After an eight month banishment, Imus reclaimed his shock jock status when he was hired by ABC in December 2007.
Check out the video where he uttered his ‘nappy-headed hoe’ comments followed by his cancer announcement this morning.
