Hair stylist to the stars, Kim Vo is in big trouble after he “torched” his client Carly Steele’s head while she was having a color treatment.  Kim has appeared on Extreme Makeover and Sheer Genius and refers to himself as a “master colorist.”

A lawsuit has been filed in L.A. County Superior Court, after his client came into his Beverly Hills salon and underwent what was sure to be the most painful beauty treatment she has ever received.

Steele states that Vo applied the color and that the aluminum foil that he used burned her scalp immediately after she was placed under the dryer.  The suit describes the events,  saying that the foil began to smoke and burn.  Carly leapt from her chair while other customers tried to help her remove the foil papers, but they were too hot.  The combination of color and foil scorched and sizzled her hair and scalp.

The victim claims that she now suffers from “severe, debilitating and gruesome injuries.”  The lawsuit seeks an undisclosed award to cover medical expenses and other damages.

Vo’s celeb clients include Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Goldie Hawn.
