Joe Jonas “Asian Eyes” Photo
One must wonder why Joe Jonas would put himself in the spotlight with a recent photo that surfaced of him making “Asian Eyes”, just weeks after the controversy that Miley Cyrus went through over the same deal.
The OCA, an organization that represents Asian Pacific Americans in the U.S., released a statement after Miley allowed herself to be photographed with a group of friends, mocking the Asian population.
“The photograph of Miley Cyrus and other individuals slanting their eyes currently circulating on the Internet is offensive to the Asian Pacific American community and sets a terrible example for her many young fans. This image falls within a long and unfortunate history of people mocking and denigrating individuals of Asian descent…”
Our guess is this is an old photo that is just surfacing now, or at least…we hope so. It will be interesting to see what the OCA will have to say to Joe about his poor choice in mocking other cultures!

This stuff is way overblown.
When I was little (and occasionally for fun in high school too!) we used to stretch our faces out in any possible direction to make silly faces. Pulling at the eyes was only one of these ways. It had nothing to do with making fun of Asians at all.
I can’t stand when people try to make themselves victims for no reason. How do you expect people to move forward when you keep playing the victim?
The why is fairly simple… Cuz there wasn’t some Disney freak to squash it…

What’s interesting is that in that picture, Miley Cyrus is sitting right next to an Asian guy.
just because he is asian, really he has an asian face ( like Taiwan)
but he is so short to be Asian
