Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke wowed the crowd on the popular ABC reality show Dancing with the Stars Monday night. Their cheek to cheek Argentine Tango was filled with intricate footwork, passion and sensuality, earning them the first set of perfect scores of season eight.

They received exceeding high praise from the judges. Carrie Ann Inaba said, “Wow, I can’t feel my face. Holy cow, jeez Louise. Ok, but on a serious note, honestly, I could not tell who was the professional and who was the contestant.”

Burke has brought two previous contestants to the winners circle; Drew Lachey in season two and Emmitt Smith in season three. It appears she and her talented partner Marini are in it for the long haul again this season. They have been consistently at the top of the leaderboard, scoring all 9’s for their Quick Step and their Samba.

Check out their video performance below. In second spot this week are Melissa Rycroft and her partner Tony Dovolani. See their performance here.
