On and off again couple Travis Barker and his ex-wife Shanna Moakler finalized their divorce in 2006, but never really ended their relationship.  Reps for both have confirmed that they have indeed split after a blow out fight Tuesday night that required police intervention.

What caused the fight?  Travis was suspicious of Shanna having an affair with actor Gerard Butler while he was recovering from a near fatal plane crash.  Shanna and Travis reconciled after the September crash amid rumors that continued to swirl regarding Moakler and Gerard, who were seen getting cozy while dining out in October.

A friend of Butler says that there was never a relationship and that the two were merely friends.  Rep’s for Travis and Shanna have both made statements.

Barkers rep said,  “After surviving the plane crash, his driving force in life is the love he has for his kids.  He is tired of all the drama and is ready to move on.”

Moakler’s rep countered,  “They did break up but Shanna never cheated on Travis while he was in the hospital.  Furthermore, Shanna is tired of playing out their personal relationship in the press.”

Police were called in because Shanna was reportedly acting irrational and freaking out.  No charges were filed.
