The final episode of ER, title And In The End, aired last night on NBC.  The show earned 122 Emmy nominations during its 15 year run.    The two-hour conclusion was preceded by a one-hour retrospective.

The show was a mix of current cast and old favorites from the past.  It was a mix of sadness laced with hope.   If you were looking for things to be tied up with a pretty bow, you’ll be disappointed.  We get the sense that life just goes on.
