   I Really miss the jon and kate plus 8. I can understand how jon felt, and hope that if the show returns , that kate gives him the respect he deserves

   i’d be happy seeing season 5 with just jon, the kids and the dogs. the show was most enjoyable when we saw the day to day life of so many kids under one roof (without the obvious religious overtones of other shows.) kate can stay on the road for all i care. she’s a bummer now. she’s annoyed with absolutely everything around the house, and what’s with that fake tan and weird haircut? i don’t really believe a woman has to stay at home to raise her kids but in this case, i thought that’s what the show was about. kate being on the road is probably the best thing for the kids right now. she’s not the fun, nurturing kate anymore.

   and go ahead kate, tell us again how much you don’t care about what your ‘public’ thinks of you now.

   NO Show is worth dumping a marriage and figuring out HOW to schedule visitations for a separated or divorces couple. KATE THINK WHAT REALLY IS IMPORTANT. 10 minutes after you are gone, no one will care, the TV world latches on to others and YOU FAMILY COULD BE LEFT IN RUINS!!! Please please think what is a possibility. All the money and comforts in the world can’t be worth the happiness of you all!!!!!

   I truly loved this show from the beginning and then it appeared that Kate was easily annoyed and did not mind showing it to the world. Let this latest situation be the situation that lets her see how demeaning Jon will not do anything for their relationship. It can be repaired and not just for the sake of television. Kate, if you love him, let him see that always.

   Umm umm umm! I thought I was the only one who notice how annoying and unaffetionate she was towards Jon. Love the kids! They are way too cute. One thing though.. I hate when they iognore how rude Madelyn can be sometimes. That too is very obvious! Marraige is for better or for WORSE.. so put GOD back into the picture and he will help you find peace!    what exactly happened to aunt jodi and her husband?
   what about beth and bob? and the other endless amount of helpers they used on and off? what’s up with kate’s family – none of them seem to participate in their lives like grandparents, aunts/uncles, etc. jon’s family is just as non-existent as well. you know, these people aren’t even mentioned or talked about in normal conversation. it seems a bit odd. does jon work at a normal job any longer? i hope they haven’t over spent themselves because this 5 minutes of fame won’t last long. of course, we are only able to see the edited version of the show and exactly what kate/jon allow the viewing public to see….so who knows what’s really the truth. i do wish them well. Please protect your family at all costs.

    I don’t believe that Jon has done anything wrong. This program has been wonderful for all who have watched it. I have watched it from the beginning. Kate should always show love and respect for her husband. The children need both their parents and this show has been well-received by the public. We all need to see loving family life, especially today. The news media will try to make anything ugly. Jon is a loving and honorable man. I hope that this show can continue, but in any case, let love bloom in this family!!!

    Obviously Jon is going through a midlife crisis! He’s getting old and needs to feel better about himself with a younger chick. Kate may be a tad brash to Jon, but she has her reasons. Men are nasty and men are also brutes. I can relate a lot to her in this sense.

    First of all, to Teresa, I don’t really know anything about Jon and Kate’s families, other than the fact that Jon’s father is dead. Other than that, there is simply a good chance that their families chose not to be involved with the show for whatever reason and that’s why they don’t ever visit them or talk about them on the show. The camera crews don’t follow this family around 24/7, so I have a feeling they go visit family during off time.

    As for the way Kate treats Jon, it drives me nuts. She is constantly on his butt about one thing or another. I would never say that she’s a bad mother, because I don’t think she is, but I do think she should learn to treat her husband with a little more respect and treat him like an equal instead of treating him like he’s one of the children.

    I love the show because it great watching the kids. I agree with some of the others–Kate does treat Jon with a lack of respect and she is way to anal about the small stuff. Let the kids be kids. A little ice cream on a shirt is not the end of the world.

    I hope that in Season 5, not only will she treat her husband better, but that they will also reign Maddie in before she becomes a miniature *&^ch. She’s still a cutie, but her attitude and behavior stinks.

    I am just so frustrated w/ the fact that everyone blames Kate for her attitude towards Jon. I think that in no way should that be an excuse for an affair! I’m sure Kate has her reasons for being that way. Can u imagine being with 8 kids all day, everyday? I just think what Jon did was just wrong, and there is no excuse for it. I hope that Kate is able to move forward, wether she is with him or not. And as for that slut that has cheated with him, her time will come. She is trash, and does not even deserve the publicity that she is getting!!! Most of all I feel for those 8 children. It is not fair for them to go through this, becuase their father decided to go with his selfish desires! I will never see Jon the same!

    Well you have to think, one reason Kate is so crazy about the kids getting dirty and whatnot is maybe because she was a nurse before she was a stay-at-home mom. I’m sure she worked around very sick people and people that were not very clean. I mean yes getting some icecream on a shirt is not the end of the world, but don’t you hate it when your kids get messy. I do anyway. She wants her kids to be clean. Is that a crime? I think not : )

    Kate reminds me of my Mother (God rest her soul) who also raised 8 children, worked 1 to 2 jobs at a time to help feed us. My Father was a policeman but a true southern man, who thought it was a womans place to do it all because he had a job and he should be waited on before the kids, not that he was mean about it. For thats the way they are raised in the south, (not anymore..lol) but when Mother couldn`t or wouldn`t do it any more he found a woman to cry to…poor baby.. My Mother was a BITCH….but the most loving, caring Mother ever!!!! I do believe the woman would have killed for us,,we were her life and I think that was the problem…she got lost in rasing us.

    It just breaks my heart to see the struggles that Jon and Kate are both facing. They were thrust into parenting more children than most of us can imagine, and I’m sure it’s very easy to get lost in all the stress, sacrifices and emotions that come with raising so many children all at once. Losing one’s self is a horrible thing to deal with, and a person will reach outside their normal limits to try and “find” the bits and pieces that have slowly fallen away. I feel as if Jon is experiencing this, but he needs to turn within himself to truly find what he feels he is missing in life. He said he sees his wife’s career taking off, yet doesn’t know where he fits in any longer.

    Let’s wish this precious family all the best and keep them in our thoughts and prayers, rather than belittle, judge and ridicule them. We may not agree with things they do and say, but we are neither judge nor jury.

    I have to agree with leah’s comment, you never see kate playing with her children. Is it relly more importment to worry about how organiized you are? How much time are you really spending with your children if you are always on the road? And why is it only you doing interviews,like jon had nothing to do with his children.Maybe you should raise your children that you wanted, and not worry about the mighty dollar. Maybe jon has the right idea go to work and spend time with his children. And maybe show a little respect to himinstead of talking to him like a dog.

    This show was the best when it first started. Now I’m so disgusted with it that I won’t watch it because Kate has completely changed. The show used to be about the lives of the kids. Now I feel it’s about how much money Kate can rake in by exploiting her kids on tv.

    OK – I love this show and agree that Kate does treat Jon like one on the kids, she’ s gotta cut it out! My god I want knock her out. And trust me Kate that “organic” kick your on, you wouldn’t be able to afford it if you weren’t on the show, so stop with your “I only feed my kids organic” crap cause that stuff is expensive especially when you were living on Jon’s IT salary 8 kids common, and i’m sure you get most of your stuff free because you promote it on the show. Maybe you should watch one of your shows and see for yourself how you look. Maybe you can see how Mady’s actions are also to be put in time out. Actually, you should sit in the corner with the way you behave. I really like this family I think they really are trying their best with this large task at hand. But it is a reality show which shows nothing in reality. It’s like it’s Kate’s dictotatorship. Her way is the only way and Jon is just one of the kids. I sympathize with you Jon, god bless your patience.

    I do not know what people are watching this show for anymore. I have stopped watching it a long time ago when they were taking all of the trips and freebies. Yes they did get a bunch of kids all at once, but what do you expect with fertility treatments!!! HELLO you always usually get multiples nowadays with fertility drugs, so I do not feel sorry for them at all. Kate did use to care about taking care of the kids but now she cares more about promoting her books which are about the kids. She is no longer a stay at home mother so she can stop playing that card completely. You do not need a million dollar home to survie in this world either with eight children. We lived in a one bedroom home with four kids and we turned out just fine. We did not have the finer things in life until we all worked and earned it ourselves so these people need to get off of the pitty wagon because life can be much harder than the way they make it out to be. Why would there be another season, the show is called Jon & Kate plus eight, there is no more Jon & Kate. Plus the kids are very spoiled. I feel sorry for them because when all the publicity is gone, the children are the ones who will be the most impacted by it all.

    Dont worry about what all these people and there negativity !!!!!! They are just jelouse of what you and your kids have become. I’ll be honest I use too hate reality shows, but then I started whatching Jon & Kate plus 8, and I just couldnt emagine 8 kids and it change my out look on some reality shows. I know people say that your a bad mom , but they dont know what happens behind closedoors. And all these people making remarks most likley only have 1 to 3 children at the most so they cant JUDGE YOU!!!!!!! just because they whatch the show doesnt mean they know how to raise 8 children. I will continue to whatch the show as long as it airs. I feel by whatching the knew shows that I think Jon is having a midlife crises regaurdless what he says!!!! I mean whats up with the earing that was so 23 year old doesnt everyone agree? I’m 26 I have no children but Im not clueless about kids , Im a hair stylest so I”m around children all the time and I see alot of bad parents and ones that dont deserve children!!!!! BUT KATE IS A GOOD MOM!!!!!!!
