Robert DeNiro’s former nanny, Alexis Barry, is suing the actor, claiming that he owes her more than $40,000 in overtime pay.

Barry worked for DeNiro and his wife, Grace Hightower, taking care of their 11 year-old son in 2006. The nanny was fired after 10 months on the job,  when she told them that she had decided to quit.   The nanny claims that in addition to the 750 hours of unpaid overtime, she is also owed for the 10 vacation days that she didn’t use.

The court papers were filed on Friday in Manhattan Superior Court.  DeNiro’s reps had no comment.
