Move over Sponge Bob Square Pants because here comes Victoria Beckham…no seriously, make room for a posh princess. The former Spice Girls star has signed on to make a “voice over” appearance on the popular kids cartoon.

With a successful singing career under her belt and a fashion empire underway, it seems fitting for Victoria to take the next step and get into animated kid flicks.  Many famous celebrities have already jumped on that bandwagon including Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie, Scarlett Johansson, Jack Black and Reese Witherspoon.

A source close to Beckham told the Daily Mirror:

“She isn’t interested in becoming an actress but voice-over work is something that appealed.  Screenwriters created the role of a posh British princess especially for her, and they were blown away by what a natural she was.  Network bosses have been in touch with her ever since, offering her more work.”

Her sons Romeo, Brooklyn and Cruz are sure to be thrilled with their mom’s latest Sponge Bob gig.  Victoria was recently named the 52nd richest woman in Britain.
