First Dog Bo Arrives At The White House (PHOTOS)
The White House has released photos of the Obama’s new puppy Bo. The 6 month old Portuguese water dog, a boy, was given to the family by Senator Edward Kennedy and his wife.
Sasha Obama, 7, and Malia Obama, 10, are pictured with their parents as the family unit admires the newest arrival at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. The photos were posted on the White House website and are credited to Pete Souza.
The Washington Post reported today that the Obama girls chose the name Bo because their cousin has a cat named Bo and Michelle Obama’s father was nicknamed Diddley. Put the two together and you have Bo Diddley.
Pop diva Fergie will rock the south lawn of the White House on Monday, for the annual White House Easter Egg Roll.
