Blake Fielder-Civil to Be a Father

Did you shudder when you saw the headline? We did! The good news is that musician Blake Fielder-Civil didn’t get his current wife Amy Winehouse pregnant. Instead, Gilleen Morris has stepped forward and announced that she is with child and Blake is the baby daddy.

Morris already has two other children and reports that she is six weeks along with Blake’s baby. The two met when they were both seeking treatment for addiction issues in Sheffield, England. Technically Blake is still married, although he filed for divorce in January.

Gilleen has said that Fielder-Civil was shocked by the news initially but plans to stand by her side to raise their child. The mother-to-be said that she initially planned to have an abortion because she didn’t want more children and thought that Fielder wouldn’t embrace the idea of fatherhood. Shocked by Blake’s support, she has decided to keep the baby.

Now wouldn’t it be fun to see crazy Amy’s reaction to the blessed news? The singer is in St. Lucia and has been photographed hanging out with the town children. Good news for Winehouse…the pregnant woman appears to be steeped in her own world of crazy and has said that if Amy wants to be the baby’s “step mom”, that would be fine as long as there aren’t any drugs or self harm.
