Stacy Ferguson aka Fergie, will rock a special event at the White House on Monday, April 13.  More than 30,000 people are expected to gather for the White House Easter Egg Roll.  The theme this year is Let’s Go Play and will emphasize the importance of exercise.  The activities will be available all day on the internet via webcast from the South Lawn.

Anyone who has ever seen the pop diva perform can attest to the fact that she definitely falls into the ‘fit’ category, with her flips and walk over stunts.  The event will also feature celebrity chefs and story time.

Other entertainers include reggae star Ziggy Marley and kid favorite SteveSongs and Imagination Movers.   Fergie’s husband, actor Josh Duhamel will read to kids, as will a host of soccer, football and basketball star athletes.

The White House welcomed the much anticipated ‘First Pet’ over the weekend.  The Obama family hoped to hold off until Tuesday with the family photo op but a website leaked an advance glimpse, which caused an earlier than planned release of pics.
