Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino is host to 51 gorgeous women from across the country who have converged on the gambling mecca and were vying for the Miss USA 2009 title on Sunday night, April 19.  The show was broadcast on NBC at 7 p.m.  See who won here.

We’ve got photos from the preliminary evening grown competition and we must say, these women are absolutely stunning.  A big trend again this year is the front slit that allows these super fit women to show off their gorgeous legs.   A few had very sheer gowns and one contestant, Miss Arkansas’s Chanley Painter even gives us a glimpse of her phenomenal abs.
