Madonna Rushed to Hospital After Fall from Horse
Madonna was rushed to the hospital this afternoon after taking a fall while horseback riding in the Hamptons.
Madonna was at a friend’s horse farm in Bridgehampton when the horse she was riding was startled by paparazzi who jumped out of the bushes.
The 50-year-old singer was reportedly wearing full riding gear, including a helmet, when she took the spill.
According to the NY Post, the Material Girl was carried into an ambulance on a backboard and taken to Southampton Hospital.
Ryan Seacrest is reporting that Madonna was released from the hospital this evening, and will be having further tests while she remains under the observation of doctors.
This is not Madonna’s first horseback riding accident. While riding in London on her 47th birthday, she lost her balance and broke several bones — including three cracked ribs, a broken collarbone and a broken hand.
