Why should she be condemned for being honest about what she stands for. She serves God and he says that homosexuality is wrong. Don’t get twisted because you couldn’t make someone say something that you wanted them to say. The name calling on his part really just makes HIM look stupid, childish, and insecure. Grow up already – not everyone agrees with your lifestyle. She deserves the crown for having morals, for being honest, and for having the courage to stand up and say what she believes in. If more people did, then our country might not have the problems it does today.

   This lady is one of the most amazing persons I’ve ever met. Under this enormous presure to become she chose to be real rather than pander to popular opinion. Her parents brought her into the world, man and woman not man man or woman woman. Even science aknowledges that it is only the male and female gamete that froms a being. If nature had it so what explains people thinking about non issues. She’s a great girl. If not that am married and love my wife she’s worth loving and cherishing and I pray that God honors her and brings her to a point whereby she will look back and rejoice. I never knew her but she honored me. I never knew that people these days under the ambition to be still will rather chose to do the right thing even if it leads them to a temporary set back. That’s character, that’s virture. To some it may seem crazy but she did a mavelous thing. You should not be cowed by people that have lost self control and discipline. That one has an instinct of getting drunk or killing or doing all sorts of vice must not make us to accept those vices as part of life. There are people today that sleep (have sex) with animals, should we also accept them as a form of marriage? If we do not discourage them tomorrow they will begin to agitate to be recognized as a marriage union and that it is thier right as individuals.

   Do we not have the right to own oppinions? She was asked a direct and gave an honest answer. If the judge didn’t want to hear that answer, he should have asked a different question. I think that was an unfair question since if she didn’t agree with gay marriage, then this would have happened. It is reverse discrimination. I will not ever watch this pageant again. I think this was awful.

   Why is it that no one is allowed to voice there opinion if it happens to not be the “socially acceptable” one and WHAT IN THE WORLD qualifies this Hilton person as a judge for Miss USA? If she believes that marriage is between a man and a woman, then that is her opinion and/or belief and in our country she has the same right to voice it as any one else. Why is her freedom not as important as his to say he thinks same sex marriage should be legal. If that comment is truly what cost her the crown then good bye to the whole Miss USA pageant. Why would you ask such a question anyway? Some people in this country still agree with her.

   Good for you Carrie!!! Your honest answer not only proves but also illuminates the biased judging used in the Miss America pageant. You were obviously judged and denied the crown on someone’s (Hilton’s) feelings being hurt because you disagree with his obvious life style. Perez Hilton proved his lack of professionalism by calling you terrible names afterwards. Mr. Hilton (and I use the term “Mr.” lightly) should be permanently banned from his judging position if personal public attacks are to be expected against contestants who do not share his obvious alternate lifestyle……

    I applaud Carrie for her courage and support her 100%. While this issue still remains divisive thoughout the country Perez Hilton seems to be unaware that while four states have recently sided with gay rights advocates the last election three states held elections and all elected to treat marriage as between a man and a woman. Seems as though Perez his looking through his own rose-colored glasses and ignoring the rest of the country and Carrie via Prop 8 in California quite frankly reflects the vast majority of Californians via the passage of this proposition. She also said nothing different than President Obama (whom I am certain he supported) did numerous times this last campaign cycle. Where are the four letter tirades against our President and for that matter Hillary Clinton since she supports the same stance. My worst condemnation goes to Keith Lewis and the rest of the California USA committee. YOU are not California Mr. Lewis and truthfully all of your in the upper tiers of this pageant should immediately resign. The bare minimum you put out on the official website of support for Carrie especially after your own publicized ranting during the week was disgusting and it is YOU who SHOULD BE TOTALLY ASHAMED for not supporting your candidate. The only one who has shown little CLASS besides Perez Hilton himself is YOU and the pageant you represent. Carrie you ARE AWESOME and Mr. Lewis better not even attempt to strip you of your rightly deserved title!!!! “God Bless You Carrie”

    Miss USA should be a person who can accept all people and their lifestyles. Its great that she stands for what she believes in. But they’re looking for someone who reprents the USA and should accept and be tolerable to all people no matter their race, gender, or sexual orientation.
    I don’t want someone who was not to be my Miss USA. And because she thinks marriage is between a man and woman, people are applauding her for having morals? So people who disagree with her don’t? I for one, have morals and I am practing catholic, and I stand for gay marriage and right.

    Perez Hilton stated that Miss California was way ahead before his question then Donald Trump added this (from MSNBC):

    Trump added that Prejean’s question was “a bit unlucky,” arguing that no matter how she answered the question “she was going to get killed.”

    No mention of Hilton outrageous behavior or why such a question was even allowed.

    The whole organization really stinks.

    In the third video, Perez Hilton says that because she was running to represent all of America, she shouldn’t be divisive toward the gay community. My feeling on that issue is, if she had answered the way he would have liked her to, she would have alienated the straight community. He asked her a question that required her to give an answer that was certainly going to piss off one side of the political isle or the other. It was a loaded question, and there was no way to answer that question and represent all of America at the same time. He was just angry that she didn’t side with him.
