CBS Early Show co-host Julie Chen, 37, announced on Tuesday that she and husband Les Moonves, 59, are expecting their first child together.

Chen is due on October 4th.  She says that contrary to earlier reports by the NY Post, she will not be taking a maternity leave from “Big Brother,” which she also hosts.

Moonves, President and CEO of CBS, has three grown children from a previous marriage.
