The date was November 7, 2006 and Kirstie Alley appeared on The Oprah Show, rocking a brown bikini. That was then. She is a guest of Oprah today and much has changed since that snapshot in time. See Oprah’s Golden Ticket Sweepstakes here.
The actress ended her successful run with Jenny Craig some sixteen months ago and told her loyal fans that she would be launching her own weight loss system. It didn’t materialize and now she’s put the weight back on.
ET received a response from a Jenny Craig rep, who said “Jenny Craig maintains a friendly relationship with Kirstie and we are proud of her accomplishments while she was on our program. Kirstie successfully lost 75 lbs and maintained that weight loss throughout our 3 year relationship, which came to an end in December 2007. We remain supportive of Kirstie, wish her nothing but the best, and we would welcome her back at any time as a returning client.”
November 2009 UPDATE: Kirstie Alley will be featured in a new A&E reality docu-series that will take viewers through her new weight-loss program. The 10 half-hour shows will showcase the 58-year-old during her latest weight loss mission. The shows will air in 2010. See details and a before and after photo gallery here.

I’d still hit it. Girls like that throw down!
She’s big and brash, even a bit goofy sometimes, but I like her openness and straight talk. Sure shes’s trying to make a come back with her show The Big Life? And sure, she may be plugging her diet loss program, but then which show doesn’t plug something or try to make money. So what do you think of her new show? Have you seen it?
