It was a big night at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.  Our favorite A-List celebrities turned out in force for The Model As Muse: Embodying Fashion Costume Institute Gala.

Several participants turned heads with their interesting choice of attire.  Getting lots of attention were Madonna with her scrunchy hair accessory and Rihanna in formal wear with a nod to femininity.

Other notables were Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, Cindy Crawford, Blake Lively, Rene Zellweger, Jessica Alba, Anne Hathaway, Selma Blair, Molly Sims, Lily Donaldson and Gisele Bundchen.
