Rapper Eminem is one lucky guy after overdosing on pills back in 2005.   Not even sure exactly what he had taken, all he knew was that he ingested a handful of blue pills that were later identified by doctors as Methadone.  His doctor likened it to shooting up 4 bags of heroin, which could easily have been fatal.

Eminem sat down and chatted with Vibe magazine recently and didn’t hold much back about his troubled past with drug abuse.  The singer was popping as many as 20 pills a day, including Vicodin, Ambien and Valium.  He admits that things got so bad that he lost count.

There have been many relapses for the powerhouse, but he has been sober for one year and is looking to his music for strength, calling Rap his drug of choice.
