Kate Gosselin, of the popular TLC reality show Kate Plus 8, is horrified by the latest rumors of infidelity. This time it is Kate who is in the middle of a scandal, reportedly having an affair with her bodyguard and family friend Steve Neild.
According to the latest rumor mill, Kate has been engaging in a secret long term relationship with a member of her security detail. He travels extensively with the family as they make public appearances and travels with Kate as she meets her schedule of media commitments across the country.
Now that the spotlight is shining on her, her emotions are running in high gear. She told People magazine, “The allegations they’re making about me are disgusting, unthinkable, unfathomable, and I am horrified.” That’s our Kate – the drama queen.
She is afraid that the family’s dwindling group of friends will turn away from them based upon the latest revelations. The paparazzi have camped out in front of the Neild household. Kate Gosselin lamented, “We opened our world to this but we had no idea we would potentially take down the people that we love around us.”

SHE HAS SHOWN HER TRUE SELF AND HERE IT IS. A WORD OF ADVICE FOR MISS KATE. DON’T RUN OFF YOUR FAMILY AND RESPECT YOUR HUSBAND THEN YOU WOULD NOT EVEN BE IN THIS SITUATION.
Let those kids be kids. I hate to say this but I know they would still be married if it weren’t for that show. Kate you keep saying you need to work for their future. Kids are now in school go back to nursing and maybe do one show a year. And to Jon dude you really need to find someone your own age. Hailey seems to be with you for some type of exposure and she seems like she may be troubled. Kate please get a new make over hairdo. I am not trying to be rude just practicle. The best to your children.
I don’t doubt for a minute that Kate would cheat. A bodyguard ! Kate’s problem is first off her Shew Gene. How dare she leave a legacy for her kids to watch (when older) that shows her treating their father like a ninth child/ man servant/imbecile.
Jon for his part is immature/ is in competition with his wife – kids. Jon doesn’t know who Jon is. He permitted this arrogant – shrewish behavior. How dare they both renew their wedding vows last year (phony). They BOTH have exploited their kids to the hilt – living the HIGH life! Note from plastic surgery – hair implants, cars, designer clothes, a MANSION – their KIDS have paid the TAB. Without those dear children Jon and Kate would be ZERO.
Imagine PARENTS buying (or given – Kate is such a beggar) motorcycles! Kate (HA) imagines herself another Oprah/star. This whole thing has gone to her head. She belongs at HOME with her kids not gallivanting around with a muscular bodyguard! Jon thinks he’s a teenager/ has NO self esteem/ is a wimp. Kate HITTING her child appalled me.
That little girl will remember that forever (above Disney World). Kate’s ill temper has resulted in abuse. How dare she. This is what money – TV coverage does to nobodies. They both are infantile – greedy – grasping. My God in today’s economy they live like royalty and its not enough!! DON”T watch the show and don’t buy the book. Let them EARN a living like the rest of us. Let’s hope there’s money left for those dear children.
the bodyguard has to be nearing 60 years old, kate is probably in her mid to late 20′s. i doubt that anything is going on as she wouldn’t be attracted to someone that old. He doesn’t seem like a petifile, its all blown out just to make a story.
I wish that The Smoking Gun would post a copy of the family’s contract with TLC and we can get some details on whats gonna happen and all that!
Well the network and or the Gosselins could always hire a female bodyguard firm is a site with female bodyguards and special bodyguards for children.

Madame has been demeaning her husband and shoving around her children and family for years. She’s been grabbing freebie vacations and clothes. With millions in the bank, she went to churches to whine about how poor they were so the suckers would give her “love donations.” (That’s CASH to Kate Gosselin.)
She respects no one. The bulletin boards have several accounts of people who have dealt with her and say she is rude and arrogant. Why wouldn’t she cheat on Jon? She doesn’t respect him, and she has made certain her children and the world know it.
She probably just felt like cheating–and what this witch wants, she tramples everyone to get! After all, she’s got to have someone admire her flat stomach (a freebie operation, remember), and I doubt it’s been Jon for a long time.

Well what can i say, my gf watches the show religiously, and when i watch, we both agree, d***n that kate is really a B*tch. she treats jon HORRIBLY, and he is a good example of how women, women who beat men i mean, treat men. i wouldn’t be shocked if he left her. HOWEVER, if he is cheating, which doesn’t seem too unlikely however out of character for him, its his own fault and he is to blame, but we can understand. she is AWFUL to him. i’m sure what seemed like a good way to help the kids at first, to jon, has turned into a horrible nightmare. TV makes people bad, and she didn’t seem to pleasant to begin with.
She WROTE for her children, bet her friend Beth would take umbrage with that statement.
It’s sad to watch this family implode on television. I noticed the last season how Kate and Jon’s body language changed. Now reading the stories and seeing the preview video it confirms the disintegration of a family right before our eyes.
The children are ultimately the losers. Like Jon I just wish this show would shut down and give the family a chance to work things out privately. To Kate I would like to ask does all that money now make you happy? Look at the sad state of your lives and tell me that you have your children’s best interest at heart. Kudos to Kevin and Jodi for stepping forward to push the issue so Kate and Jon must deal with it. A resounding boo to TLC for not turning the cameras off and allow this family some time to work through their issues. This is one viewer who won’t be watching when the new season starts.
Kate reminds me of the scene in Casablanca when, after winning at roulette, Capt. Renault exclaims…”Gambling…I’m shocked to find gambling going on here…”
I have watched 2 episodes over the years, and both were upsetting. It pains me to see children exploited for personal gain, something these parents do very well. While I cannot claim to know what it is like to have multiples, I do have children of my own and “motherhood” is not about “mom”. Perhaps someone will offer therapy, they all need it now.
Does this fiasco continue to fester like an open sore? These poor kids are being exploited by TLC, and Ms. Kate is reaping the profits! The woman should have her head examined, and why don’t we look at REAL families with REAL issues. “oh, the child with a personality issue is going to have negative thoughts about people watching her get braces”!!!! OH PLEASE, why don’t we go to Ghana or India and watch a cleft lip procedure on a young child and see how that creates 100% happiness in that child’s life? Why don’t we take a family of underprivileged children in New Guinea and see them abound with smiles and joy when they receive new clothes and toys? GET REAL TV goers… who do you think put all those wonderful clothes on the 8? How do you think they got such an incredible house? Kate should be ashamed of her actions… or maybe she doesn’t realize what an idiot she is coming over on NATIONAL TV!
This is a shock for me. Yes, Kate isn’t always the nicest person to Jon, but she is a mother to 8! I believe myself, and most other women in her situation would be just as feisty!!

the usual trash tv, but I guess not. I’m really disappointed in Kate and Jon. Mostly Kate, does she not realize she got famous by who she was not who she is now. Yes her body
guard is good looking, and he is probably a womanizer. Grown up Kate and realize what you have, I just don’t think I can watch this show anymore, I feel really bad for the kids and
think they are going to suffer greatly from all this negative attention. And I just can’t make myself watch anymore.

I would like to know how many of these bashers of Jon and Kate watch soap operas. How may times a day do you see them cheat and swap partners. You just eat that up. Sure it’s now real but it sure is out there to influence weak people. All shows that are so popular these days have drama, murder and cheating on them. Heck, even the Jack in the Box commercial with all the gals in the hot tub is too sexy for kids and hopefully some adults to want to watch. It’s everywhere, so if a mistake was made, I hope they reclaim a strength inside them to correct the problems they are going through.. Remember what you watch on tv everynight, what does it put in your heads???
The show should just go off of the air, and I’m sure it will after all of this. It is interesting to watch but obviously it’s too much for the family. Hopefully they were smart enough to put that money away for their kids college funds, otherwise, they will all be screwed when it’s over.
The nice thing about America is people have the right to do anything they want, some people get luck and make it big, hard work is not a guarantee that you will have fame and fortune. some people fall into it like the Gosselins, but remember if you are famous or infamous in this case, people have the right to have their opinions about it. It is not for anyone who would read this comment or anyone who would leave one, to say (people should back off) if you dont like the heat, get out of the kitchen! and if you dont like comments, dont read them! It’s the ‘ I like him because he is on TV mentality or voting for someone you know nothing about, that brought out the Obama comment! But again if you dont like it, keep surfing the web until you find someone who shares you opinion! Someone else is paying for everything that Kate Gosselin has and does, everything is being handed to them, so with the good comes the bad.

I agree with kathy on the part of how rude and selfish she is when it comes to her responsibilities as a wife, she’s just straight up selfish when it comes to Jon. She never is really sweet to him on the show she just squaks and squaks about a lot of stupid shit. You can tell shes addicted to the limelight too. She just seems brrr to Jon in the show, compared to how she interacts with the kids, they seem ill matched a bit.

Yes Kate is high strung but that is freely admitted. If you want to watch someone that is going to be perfect & ALWAYS do the right thing you shouldnt be watching reality t.v. If you have kids & you can say you are perfect all the time you may want to contact Guinness because you should really be in the book! Kate doesnt deserve the blame IF Jon did have an affair. anybody who “loves” these STRANGERS, should hope the show goes off the air. kate has turned into a truly horrible person. she has let her supposed “fame” go to her head. jon stays home while she travels for her book tour. the only hope for these children to have two parents is for the show to end. otherwise, there will be a divorce. jon is miserable. the finale is so sad where he states he wants off the air; yet kate sits there and says how she loves it. she loves free stuff, limos and having crazy fans screaming when she enters a room. i dont even know how she will survive if she becomes “a regular person” again. she really appears to think she is a celebrity now. i do believe she and jon both had affairs. how could you blame jon? kate needs major counseling and maybe they can put their lives back together. for the sake of the kids, i hope they do. and if not i hope jon gets custody at least until kate can get her act together.

What you see on tv is what “they” want you to see, and just because someone is on TV does not make them good people. The Gosselins have exploited the system for all the freebies they can they are now millionaire’s. You sound like a stalker to me! And i’ll bet money you voted for Obama!
i really dont think jon would cheat on kate.. i love that show dearly and no matter what happins i will watch it always. im a big fan of them both and there beautiful kids. for some reason when i watch the show i feel like part of the family… i have big dreams that one day i will meet them and the children:)
