Mark Fraser Landon, 60 year old son of actor Michael Landon and Dodie Levy-Fraser, was found dead at his West Hollywood home at noon on Monday, May 11, 2009.
Mark is the biological son of Dodie Levy-Fraser, and was adopted by Michael Landon when the boy was seven years old. The couple were married from 1956-1962. The boy appeared in three movies, his best known was the 1991 television pilot US that was directed by his father (see video below).
The elder Landon played Little Joe on Bonanza and Charles Ingalls on Little House On The Prairie. He died in 1991 of cancer. The younger Landon's other film projects included Double Edge in 1988 and Goodbye America in 1997.
Details remain sketchy on the death of Mark Landon, but according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy Lillian Peck, no foul play is suspected.
