Shirley Jones may become the oldest woman to grace the pages of Playboy if her husband Marty Ingels has any say.
"She's still drop-dead gorgeous, and at the age of 75, a natural beauty," Ingels, who is also Shirley's manager, told Page Six.
"I'm her husband, and I think it would be sensational. Mature women are relevant."
The 75-year-old actress, who has made a career out of playing wholesome characters in a number of well-known musical films, such as "Oklahoma!," "Carousel," and "The Music Man", is best known for her role as Shirley Partridge on "The Partridge Family," co-starring her real-life stepson David Cassidy, son of Jack Cassidy.
Ironically, the only award she has won was an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for playing a prostitute in "Elmer Gantry."
Nancy Sinatra is currently the oldest woman to pose for Playboy, appearing in the magazine in 1995 at age 54. Vikki LaMotta was 51, and Farrah Fawcett and Joan Collins were both 50.
