This wouldn’t be the first time that we have heard Paris Hilton gush about the latest and greatest love of her life.  Her sights at the moment are set on minor league baseball player Doug Reinhardt.

The couple are thrusting themselves into the media spotlight in the south France while taking in the Cannes Film Festival, and are reportedly having the time of their lives.

Reinhardt spoke with Extra: “You never know what will happen…We’re very happy.  We’re having a lot of fun.  We laugh.  We love each other.  Couldn’t ask for more.  She’s everything I dreamed of and she’s an amazing girl and I’m having the most fun with her and she’s awesome.”  A “dude” at the end of that quote would have seemed fitting…he sounds like he’s 15 and just found his first girlfriend.

As for Paris…well, she’s not much better.   Check out her thought-provoking comment below, but be forewarned…it’s the same old sound bite – just a different guy:

“I’ve never been happier.  We’re best friends.  We have the best time together.  We really enjoy life.  We are so much alike.  I’m happy.”
