Actor Mel Gibson and his wife of  28 years, Robyn Moore, filed for divorce back in April and now their financial situation is being revealed.  Who will get what, when the divorce is final?

Gibson is said to be worth a whopping $900 million dollars on paper, however, most of his net-worth is tied-up in real estate.  A source close to the case said that “relative to his wealth, there is not a lot of cash involved.”

By no means are they living on a budget.  His latest project, set to be filmed for Paramount in the fall 2009, is expected to earn him a cool $17 million.

Some of Gibson’s properties are in trusts for his children and the rest will have to be liquidated in order to reach a final  property settlement.  The process is likely to be tied up for years, in light of the stagnant real estate market.

In other Gibson news, he is going to be a daddy again with new girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.  This will be his eighth child.
