Allison Iraheta Signs Record Deal
Allison Iraheta, the 17 year old teen who finished in fourth spot on the latest season of American Idol, has signed a record deal with Jive Records and 19 Entertainment. Her debut album, Just Like You will drop on December 1.
The talented rocker said, “I think I’m still in shock that this is happening–getting to record my first album and this whole awesome experience is a dream come true.”
She amazed the Idol audience with Slow Ride, a duet that she performed with the runner-up Adam Lambert. He has recently been seen with his boyfriend, interior designer Drake LaBry. Lambert is also featured on the latest Rolling Stone cover – check it out here.

I love Allison! I knew she’d get a deal even if she lost the contest. In the end, I think she’s better off, too, because many Idol losers ended up becoming more successful than the winners themselves. I came across this gallery of all the past “losers.” Honestly, I remember these guys more than the winners anyway!
