Usher Files For Divorce From Tameka Foster Raymond (PHOTOS)
Recording artist and actor Usher has filed for divorce from his wife of two years, Tameka Foster Raymond. The talented musician petitioned the Superior Court of Atlanta on Friday to end his marriage. Their first court date is Wednesday, July 15 at 2:30 p.m., when they are to appear at a domestic relations scheduling conference.
The couple have been living apart for several months. They were married in August 2007 and have two sons, 18-month-old Usher Raymond V and 6-month-old Naviyd Raymond.
On February 6, 2009, Tameka went into cardiac arrest in Brazil while undergoing anesthetized prior to a plastic surgery procedure. Usher rushed to South America to be at his wife’s bedside during her time in intensive care.

This was a divorce-waiting-to-happen from the get go. I never once thought they’d make it.
Thus, no big surprise. I’m glad Usher took the stance and filed. Personally, I think he was tricked into marriage.
This really bad …. why do people like these have children? But it’s not surprised.
I don’t understand why he ever married her. The woman was a train wreck and apparently he wasn’t thinking. He could have picked amongst any of the young beautiful singers.
Instead he picked a gold digger with a lot of kids. Hard lesson learned but I wish him and his two boys the best. Glad it finally happened.
I wish nothing but the best for their 2 boys. This was a marriage that is now a lesson learned. Usher found out the hard way. Now see what’s it’s going to cost him. Child support +spousal b/c you know she is going to go for it. Best of luck to them both.

This news is a heart breaking one such Coogar like behavior Ms.Tamika should be ashamed of herself as the more responsible adult and parent she should have stood firm as a queen what goes around comes around she was a wife and mother who did not present herself in any other way but that of a troubled woman with no direction 5 or 6 kids later things cannot and will not get any better for the GOLD DIGGER. Young men always remember listen to your mother. A real mothers love never dies.
This is no surprise. He never should have married her in the first place. I really think it was all a big mess, but I don’t know if anyone is surprised, but she made sure she got two kids out of it. Usher’s mother told him no to do it now I bet he wishes he would have listened to her advice. I think Tamika knew exactly what she was doing and I really think she is just a gold digger anyway. Best of luck Usher, hopefully you’ve learned your lesson and will not make the same mistake again!
